Lj ran a fucking marathon?

i read recently that smoe african ran a marathon in about 2 hours. That blew my mind rediculous fast pace to keep up

EVERYBODY THINKS MARATHONS ARE REALLY BADASS. THEY'RE NOT THAT HARD, NOT EASY, BUT NOT THAT HARD.

PROPS TO LJ THOUGH, DONT KNOW WHERE HE FOUND THE TIME TO TRAIN FOR THAT SHIT

Yeah I remember him saying he really likes running in some interview, he said when he's back home in Vermont he'll just randomly go on like 20 k runs haha I used to run 10k's and 15k's and I thought that was fucking hard, a marathon would be ridiculous....mad props to LJ!

I think he's insinuating that he is hella swoll, and that if he trains for a marathon all of that will go away. I figure he mentioned it in a bragging sort of manner, thinking he went about it without looking like a complete douche, however that disguise has been lifted.

Props for sure! I just can't believe he put the time into training like you said. I mean wouldn't he rather be skiing Hood?

Thanks guys! definitely crazy fun, If you put in the time the months leading up and learn to pace yourself to something that you can personally handle its pretty reasonable. I think a lot of people could run a marathon that might not think they ever could but obviously its not for everyone, but training isn't that bad, I've been running all summer just after skiing. I didn't change my diet or follow a running regiment, just went running a bunch. I'm a run another next year. such a fun different experience

Huge props, I have no idea how your knee can handle so much. Freeskiing and running are prbly the 2 worst sport for knees be carefull

its impressive that distance running and freestyle skiing use very different muscles and fiber types. But I guess athletes are athletes regardless of the discipline.

If you run really long distances, when your body runs out of energy/fat to use, it starts to burn your muscle for energy.

how long are we talking? i knock out 5 miles a day for cardio's sake and to stay slim, but only do a few weight exercises a day (benching, some abs, etc)... is there any chance im burning muscle?

props to Lj, that's really fucking sick. Ive only run a half marathon before but i really want to train for a full one soon.
