Living/working/skiing hood over the summer

im a college student in NH and wanna head out there for the summer. I applied to windells to be a counselor, but havent heard much back from them other then 2 weeks ago in an email saying "We havent made any decisions yet." so i want to put together a backup plan...i feel like i heard something last year of a big jibber camp or something on an old airstrip or something of people who just rode the public pak for the summer...anyone work out there over the summer or live out there? is there decent part time employment? is this shred camp a myth? any info anyone has would be appreciated

apply to hood as a cook or somtin else then counsler..thats a hella hard job to get...and you can work for the lodge, or be park maintenance

hahah i applied for kitchen staff !!! WOOT and a few other jobs like on hill safety , maitenance.... etc. just trying to help out any way possible.

did you have a reference to put down on your resume? heard it's hard to get your stuff looked at unless you know someone.

I applied about 2-3 weeks ago for ski rentals and one of the restaurants. Hopefully Ill get it. I had some mad good letters of recommendation.
 
apply at timberline for some kind fo night job, ideally at the brew pub so you dont have to go up to tline

go to mthood.com and apply for either kitchen staff or dig staff
 
my friends girl did it last summer and is going back to hood this summer. Don't know anything about it other than the fact that her goggle tan was the darkest i've ever seen.
