Living with all girls

my friend is transferring schools and her spot in her apartment is empty, and I need a place to live next semester, took a semester off. I know her friends pretty well and they are cool, fun to drink/smoke with and pretty attractive.

so should I ask to move in with them? I think having all female roommates might be refreshing because last year on weekdays I would get kinda sick of hanging out with all dudes. but then again it might get hard after a while, since lets face it greys anatomy and other shit like that sucks

oh and last time i was at my school visiting I had the chance to hook up with one of them but decided not to for various reasons. in any case i would absolutely not have sex with any of them (except for maybe one she is just so damn hot haha) because sex is what ruined things with my friend and the rest of them.

what do you think? I am really looking for someone's opinion who has lived with all girls before.
 
Its not that bad if you arent all always home together and in ach others space. Be prepared for them to have lots of their friends over for girl evenings and you will be shunned at that point.

And NEVER sleep with a roommate.
 
I am kinda tempted to just room with a nerd. that way things will be quiet whenever I am at home but then i can just go out and have a good time.
 
dude... bad idea. i've lived with a couple kids who were kinda nerdy and it was baaad. my advice would be to either get roommates who are like you or just live alone. the only roommate i've ever really gotten along with was one of the biggest stoners i've ever met... and he told me i was the biggest stoner he ever met.

and either fuck all of them or none of them.
 
thats ok, I am like the least macho guy ever. other than a very high pain tolerance and bigtime balls I am not too manly.
 
I would say it greatly depends on how many girls. One or two, probably not a big deal. 4 or 5? You're asking for trouble. A friend of mine (who actually is gay) lived with 4 girls one year. Got himself in the middle of a crazy girl fight. He couldn't take sides, they were nuts. He had to move out with like a month and a half left in the year, he couldn't get anything done. Not even sleep. It was yelling and bitching 24/7. Small arguements became ridiculous. I'd think twice about getting myself into a situation like that.

Just remember, all girls are crazy.
 
no dude. just think about all the down sides to that. guys talk to guys about guy things. you wont have that same sense of security around girls. and just think about the bathroom issues. idk about you but im a personal shitter, and i dont like anyone near when i do my business. and girls shitting is jjust wierd.
 
it is true girls will hold grudges forever and fight about them. however if you become the man of the house and show them who's boss and you obtain dominance like peeing on your shit and fights for alpha male you should be ok.

but seriously i think itd be nice. i know what you mean about not being very macho. so lets separate it out into pros and cons

Pros: room will smell good

room will more often than not be cleanish

they will always have a ton of food

they will know tons of girls you can hook up with if you want

they will listen to you if you ever need someone to talk to

Cons:room will smell like numerous perfumes and lotions all at once causing you to sneeze and or get a head ache. kinda like a bed bath and beyond from hell

if the room does get dirty you will have tons of little flossy underwear everywhere

they do love drama and will get caught up in anything they can

if they do sit and listen to what you hav to say they will tell all their girlfriends within minutes

there will be a ton of shit on your bathroom counter and in your shower

they will take a long time in the bathroom

there will always be a time when the tv is theres and cannot be reached by any means

there may or may not be pictures of half naked guys around your room

there will be many cosmo magazines in a cute little basket somewhere and they will make you take the quizes

they will always ask you why guys are so damn confusing

they will ask you for guy advice like you know how every guy works and what they want

they will not find "pee in her butt" a funny answer

that doesn't happen. i live with 3 girls, and i wouldn't call it ideal. you have no say about the house(example, we have a fucking pink beirut table), they're moody, they blame you for shit they should just do themselves (like cleaning a pot for cooking, even though i just clean one i want to use if it's dirty). definitely not my ideal situation. they get kinda bitch sometimes too, though one is cool, we play guitar hero. only one is hot, and she's really into her BF or whatever. on the plus occasionally they cook, like last night one made lasagna. idk, ask if you have any questions, and you are right, they love to watch stupid shows.
 
why do you think there's always food around? they eat out all the time. most of the food in the fridge is leftovers that they'll never eat. also, it doesn't really smell any different. though it is weird to find bras lying around, though they keep their underwear in their rooms. i mean, you act like you're sharing a studio apartment, where everything is in the same room. oh, and they don't always ask for guy advice. i can tell you've never lived with girls except your mom. oh yeah, and showing them who's boss does nothing, it just isolates you, cause it's them against you then. also, hooking up with their friends isn't the best idea usually. and also, they'll only listen to you if it fits in their schedule.
 
why not? if its completely casual, i dont see how its that bad

well, i actually don't see why a good porking once in awhile would hurt anyone.
 
no dude he is right on the money, I dont know what the girls are like around your neck of the woods.

he gave pretty excellent advice. the only thing is, I have plenty of bros who live a stones throw away from them, so I will probably be over there for the most part
 
my brother lived with 4 girls at umass amherst for a year. it has its ups and downs...trying to watch sports is always tough. they did cook for him sometimes but i think overall he would have rather lived with a guy like he does now.
 
besides the glaring fact that they might not have an open room? i mean, call me Cpt. Obvious, but that wasn't too hard for me.
 
if they're like really good friends of yours, they'll find girls for you to hook up with. i have like 4 girls that are incredibly good friends of mine and always have my back against other girls. they always try to get me in places and they're just really good friends. and then i have plenty of bros that we just chill around and drink beers and shit. all depends on the girls; whether they suck or not.
 
well, try it for a semester, if it sucks then boo hoo, its only a few months and you'll know not to do it agian. if it works out fine, then thats even better!
 
oh I know, its ridiculous. girls take the lowest blows ever, like I dont know if I could be in the middle of all that. girls attack each others looks and personal problems, stuff that guys just would never consider bringing up. its really sad, my female friend bashed another girl for being bulimic calling her "vomit-bitch." that is just cold.

oh and yeah I would room with one of my bros but they are all full as crazyfuck said. I dont want a random roommate, i am super laid-back but respectful at the same time. like its hard to piss me off as long as you dont blast music real loud when i am tryin to sleep or take my food without sharing yours. otherwise i can study with any noise and I dont mind cleaning up other people's messes. for the most part I just dont give a fuck, its hard to make me angry.
 
ok, think about when you have to make a large amount of fecal matter in the bathroom, and you ate wings and chili the night before. That will stink.

Girls do not like that. 

 
The only question is, "are you secure?" If this is true, you will find that girl roommates are pretty much the same as guy roommates, they just have different habits, ie. REMEMBER TO PUT THE TOILET SEAT DOWN. That is the only thing you will need to worry about. Other than that, be a normal amount of respectful and you should get along great.
 
i would do it, you're all friends so whatever.  and if you do become girly then just go hunting or something manly like that to win back man points
 
I wouldnt, but only because they'll all be on the same menstrul cycle schedule thing, so they will all be PMSing at the same time
 
you could be the bitchiness police. see here at ns we have the price police, so it would be like the same thing. they get in a fight and you step in, "hey hey hey, 3 doors down they were 10% less bitchy than you"
 
No matter how cool it would be living with nothing but girls, it will suck after awhile. Listening to then rant about anything would drive me insane. I could live with one, maybe two, but thats it.

 
i live with 2 girls and 2 guys, and its ok. they can get all moody and shit. funny story, i wake up and go pee, i look down and its a bloody in the toilet, im like no way i just pissed blood, i look more, a tampoon is stuck in the fucking toilet.
 
i lived with a few guys before.. and it was way better than living with a few girls... cause girls just dont get along as well amongst one another.. i guess.
 
I live with a girl (just the two of us) right now, its generally cool because we're really old friends, but heres a few more points to consider:

-you will have NO say about how anything except your room looks. Girls have spent their whole lives dreaming about being homemakers and theyre not about to let your' led zepellin poster stand in their way. On the plus side you'll have a tasteful, neat apartement.

- whenever they get theyre period theyre a real pain in the ass

-your bathroom will be phenomenally messy

-If theyre pretty theyre used to everyone, including their male friends, giveing them sepcial treatment. Disabusing them of this notion will be a painful process

-they don't really seem to have the same value system as guys- like they will hound you for a week to make the apartement spotless because their mothers coming by, but when you try to make them to their turn at cleaning the kitchen it wont happen.

-uhh.. basically, live with guys if you can. If you can't, living with girls is fine too, but its a lot of work, you often have to acquise to totally unreasonable situations, and your stress level will go up.
 
umm, fine, listen to the guy who makes shit up, and not the one who lives with 3 girls. i'll be here to say i told you so.
 
I lived with 2 pretty hot asian chicks.. they shared the same room and often shower. It was pretty awesome.

I'd say go for it... but make sure they aren't messy and remeber.. 'don't shit where you eat' If you do.. you'll fuck yourself.. and end up having all the rent burden.

Don't do it man, girls live completly different lives then us guys.

I know a couple of my buddies who are regretting living with girls because they are bitches about everything.

The only way u would get along with the girls is if you turn gay... or if you are already gay...
 
i'm living with one guy friend and 2 girls next year. the guy and one girl have been together for a couple years and the other one is pre-engaged to her dude. it'll be a nice change after living with guys for so long.
