How lives in the south lake yearround and how do you like it? Is it hard to find a place to live and how much does rent go for to rent a house?

I don't like it, super crowed, mexicans, horrid traffic on the weekends or in the snow, the town has a dirty ran down feel. The north shore is much better.

We pay $850 for a small two bed, one bath house.

^ hey you, pipe down... you know north shore's bomb.com! haha, or at least my street is.... haha

~welcome to squawllywood~

By chill i ment relaxing, South shore is to busy for me.

Just dip your dong in paint and smack your helmet with it.

I just got back from Tahoe and the south lake seemed much more chill the north shore seemed snobby and uptight. We were skiing at Heavenly and everyone keep saying you have to check out Squaw so we did. I actually liked Heavenly better not as croweded and the people where alot nicer. The people at Squaw were really agressive and snotty cutting everyone off on the hill and on the lift lines and the mountain was packed.

Thats what happens when you ski on a Presidents Day weekend. Everyone and their mom and their moms mom goes to Tahoe.

South Shore is cheaper to find a place ot rent... North Shore is nicer tho. It is only ~45 min from South Lake to Northstar. I dont know what it is like to find an apt on Northshore but it is easy to find a place in SLT.

I have only experienced two bad days of traffic and they were both this weekend.... today the damn traffic was backed up to the junction of 50 and 89 heading out toward seirra, thats a lot of fucking cars.
