Living in a tent?

Get the Sierra Design Lightning XT 4 tent... its big, light, and you won't ever get wet, yet when its hot it has good ventilation to keep it somewhat bearable.

a friend of mine went to corsica with his girl for 2 weeks, they'd just cruise around and sleep in their tent on the beaches, every single day, it looked quite awesome :)

I actually lived a summer in a tent. literally washing my clothes in a sink in and living off non perishable items. I also had a full time job and the tent was on a beautiful island in the thousand islands buuut i definately wanted a house at points. Keep it as simple as possible. ALWAYS have some kind of lightand ALWAYS keep everything as dry as possible and you ll be alright

I like the idea of it, but practically I'm not sure how I'll travel, I might do all of Europe for 22 days by train, with an InterRail ticket, but its where to actually camp, because usually campsites are a bit of a way out of cities.

I might start looking into it more seriously for this summer. I could go to the Monterrat mountains and I've never seen the alps in summer so that could be interesting.

Oh that just got me excited, time to plan!

completely no sir. i went on a balls to the wall canoe camp where we went on a 14 day canoe trip and i took a crazy creek. it saved me so much. great for chilling in front of the fire without having to hunch over. at night you just loosen the straps and its your pad for sleeping instead of roots/rocks

I lived in a canvas tent for the past six summers spending ten-eight weeks per summer camping. At work at a camp so yeah. But its great if you like being outdoors.

I dunno, supposing he's out there for 4, 5 months and one or two of those days are a ravaging whiteout snowstorm. should he press on? or stay and weather the storm?if he should stay, it might be beneficial to his mental and physical well-being to be able to stand.
