Live in the dorms? What else would you do, buy a house and make no friends?

We have an old saying down on the bayou....Blehhhhh!!!

first year you have to live in the Dorms. yes, there are a few/multiple grievences but at the same time it's tight. I lived in farrand, and i'd recomend it. always a very social vibe goin on.

Boulder is sick, phat shows all the time, smoke chronic, go skiing every weekend and DAMN! There are a LOT of hot girls here! As long as you dont be an idiot and drink yourself to death, Boulder is fucking awesome!

Dorms suck, but you get older and get over the dorms.

...he died doing what he loved. He will always be rememberd as a great snowboarder, but more importantly as a great friend.

Get into Sewell Hall, get a room on the 4th floor, there are only 4, they are called the towers are 8 man rooms that are huge with balconies, your own wing!

Or get a room on the third floor, I forget the number but find out, it has a 'secret' door into an attic that is dope and huge, find that room, it is easily the best on campus. Don't mention it to admin just request 4th floor or 3rd and figure it out you will be happy. Also sewell has the hottest girls because it fills up first, it is proly full now, but all the hotties who are on top of their shit or rich or whatever are in sewell.

Oakley impulse squared coat size L for sale Charcoal/Smoke color. PM me if you want. Brand NWT.

sewall = predominantly greek. will vill = far, but you get a bus, it's almost like living off campus. kitt = far long cold walk. the central ones: ferrand, libby, chey-ho, baker, etc. are right central and cool.

^^ thanks, how about any seniors that are on this website? i just get my letter of acceptance today and i am almost positive i am going there next year for engineering.

He so I here sewall is good but I am business major and I don't want to walk that far. What do you guys think about Kittredge? Should my top 3 be Sewall, Ferrand, Baker or another combination of 1-Sewall, 2-Ferrand,3-Baker,4-Kittredge,5-Cheyhoe?

don't live in kitt, i'd try to get sewall, farrand, baker top three, then libby, cheyho, whateva else. cu is a good time but like said before don't drink yourself retarted and fail out. Happened to more than one of my friends in engineering so far.

whats the deal with williams village? is it really far out there, and do the single apartments there fill up really fast? i am doing all my housing shit and i would be nice to have a place by my self, but i think it is pretty late for that. also, those huge ones in seawall sound sweet, but would you recommend trying to get into one of those with out knowing anyone trying to get in them with you? anyone who wants to help answer my questions, thanks in advance.

when it comes to what most people get, i would say that will vill has the biggest rooms. plus most of them have walk in closets and the corner rooms on some floors have private bathrooms. the food sucks in will vill though.

the only thing i miss about living in the dorms are the custom omelettes at libby. mmm those were so good. with salsa on top. yum.

Yeh i'm a senior from the UK and I got accepted back in November to do Engineering in the fall. I asked them to change my place to Leeds tho cos of a change of heart.

Properly can't wait for August now, get outta this shit hole country with no snow and no mountains!!!!

Did my housing the other day, what do CU students make of Baker hall? I put that first choice, then Farrand then Libby...

Finally, whats the deal with "ski clubs" at the weekends and stuff? I'm a mountain skier but wanna get into freestyle, just wondered what options there are, if ne?!

Cheers!

Rock on CU

Baker, Farrand, and Libby are all good choices. If you are looking to get to the mountains and meet alot of kids you probably want to just join Boulder Freeride, which is a ski and snowboard club. Its more of a drinking club but you will be able to find some rides up to the mountain and whatnot. Otherwise, scrounge your way up to the mountains and just meet kids up there, there are a shit ton of kids that go to boulder that make it up to the mtns at least 3-4 times a week.

Thanks will, liking the sound of Boulder Freeride...slightly worried bout the fact I'm leaving a drinking age country of 18, and going to a limit of 21! From the party school ratings, there's obviously a way round it...

Thanks again,

Richard

im going to CU next year for engineering. are any of the "quad" dorms(aden, brackett, etc) any good or are they just full of nerds?

Full of nerds, don't do it. I'm an engineer too, and trust me, it would be a really bad idea.

We have an old saying down on the bayou....Blehhhhh!!!

what dorm would u recommend that is still sort of close to the engineering building and that is a good dorm to live in? i was looking at farrand, and libby but i dont know anything about them besides that they are not to far from the engineering building.

crosman was sweet. it's in the quad. co-ed floors with your own bathroom. there's three to a room so it's a bit bigger. you could fit a couch in the room. it's right next to the enginerding center, too.

I think Farrand, Baker and Libby are the best three...That's what I heard on a bunch of different sites but I guess its what you want outta them...

What's the deal with these RAP programme things? I signed up to do it, but is it a waste of time or not?

yeah i was reading about the RAP's and they sound pretty stupid. they are basically mandatory for all freshman and they vary from each residence hall.

Phew! As long as I wouldn't be doing soemthing shit that I didn't have to do I can't complain...S'why I went for Baker, they had stuff about ski trips to the rockies and barbeques....Farrand and others had stuff about physics and maths and stuff....screeeeeeew doing that!

i am going for engineering and i applyed to farrand, libby, baker, and sewall in that order.

_____Prosper Bro Team '05_____

^^

What are u doing about the RAP? The RAP for those halls has nothing to do with engineering, they are related to liberal arts and other bullshit. These RAP's seem like a whole lot bs, plus u have to pay for them.

I'm not doing Engineering anymore tho...I asked to switch to business, and got my visa and acceptance stuff through yesterday...

i'm in mechanical engineering too, the engineering dorms suck ass. Do not get sucked into one of those things. The other dorms are much tighter with cooler kids. the engineering kids at boulder have access to some ridiculous stuff in the ITLL too, so sweet.

Integrated Technology and Learning Laboratory. It has machinist tools and lasers and shit, it's pretty tight. And if you want to be close to the engineering center, just live somewhere except Kittredge and Sewall, those are the only two that are from from the Engineering Center. Besides that, they're all equidistant.

We have an old saying down on the bayou....Blehhhhh!!!

I as well as going to CU next year. My brother and sister went through CU and they both said sewall, baker, libby are probably most choice. They are older style dorms and have more character. I heard the newer dorms got fucking trashed and are shitty.
