The Canadian show, im sorry to say, is sucking balls right now. The hosts of the show are fuckin dumbasses and the bands that I've seen so far except bryan adams suck for real. Those hippy quebecer girls stunk like their dreadlocks and now, guess who's on stage...Simple Plan. What a waste of a concert, and there's not even half of the people that there are everywhere else in the world because it's in Barrie, Ontario...

and you can watch it again this summer on demand AOL along with all the other performances, Canadian TV gave us only money.

 
Its actually to get the G8 leaders to drop the stupid debt that these countries cant afford to pay us, to get more and better aid, and trade justice. Once all these things are tackled, problems like disease will slowly fade because they will have more money.

 
^actually most of the debt was dropped. But thats really all that has been done and there needs to be more help than just dropping the debt. there needs to be grants instead of loans.

The real problem with Africa is that there are so many corrupt leaders that wont let their country grow.

pink floyd, deep purple, and gordon lightfoot were great. The canadian show was kinda lame overall though. The hosts were idiots, as pointed out above, and the crowd was composed of boring typical 40 year old canadians. I hate simple plan but atleast they tried to get the crowd fired up for the cause. go to live8live.com and sign the petition thingy.

my mom went to the Barrie show, and i was watching it on tv. London definately had the best people .. Neil Young was pretty cool in Barrie, but i didn't like DMC that scrony white boy with the tatoos was super annoying.

 
yeah i would have to say that London rocked the fuckin house.
