Live music/ entertainment, SLC, week of Jan. 18-23

Maybe a long shot, but wondering if anyone knows of any shows or anything, in or aound SLC this week. I have a crazy minnesotan friend that wants to head down and see the jazz play the timberwolves, and of course we would ski a bunch. and live music is always a plus. any insight or reccomendations?? thanks

i did a quick search on city weekly's site, its almost too far out for smaller shows.

i did see OAR is at the depot on the 19th, if you are into that kind of stuff.

there is always music to see here though, even if it's the metal gods or something.

are you 21 though? that may make a difference in the amount of shows available to you.

smithtix.com ...it has a huge grip on ticket sales for shows here and they have all of their upcoming events outlined a few months ahead, its rad for sure!
