Hey has anyone ridden a pair yet? Just wondering if you could throw up some intelligible thoughts on them, how they ride, durability, etc. If you haven't ridden them, I probably don't care what you have to say. I know they probably only made about 50 pairs of them, i know all the specs, and how they are supposed to ride. Just wondering if anyone has real beta on the matter.
 
I use the normal live lifes so I cant help you much on how they ride, but durability is good. and the side cut is super fun.
 
i ordered a pair, they said they would be here early january, but they still arent here. i cant wait to ride them though cause they seem awesome.
 
i dont think anyone has got them yet. A guy that used to work in my shop got hooked up by surface big time, and was still waitin for his a couple weeks ago.
 
yeah no one has this years live lifes or live life 2's, they were made at a different factory than the watch lifes from what I know, probably a screw up there.

sucks cause the 2's look fucking fun.
 
yeah does anyone have any info about when they should arrive? ive sent a couple emails but i havent gotten a reply yet.
 
a few have the live lifes from this year. the 2 people iknow 1 just got them a few weeks ago, and the other is riding on the prototype that came out last year
 
i broke my watch lifes my third day on them and e mailed surface about it a few weeks ago with no response. im beginning to say fuck surface which surprises me.

yeah they need to respond more, ive been waiting like more than a month for a reply from 2 seperate emails. i bet they have a good reason. i probably wouldnt care as much if i hadnt just waited a year for my saga pants.
 
are you in canada?

if yes, my watch lifes took a while to get through customs. i ordered them dec 19 and they got here late jan.

a few weeks ago mike was in europe. his wife was checking emails. might explain why there wasn't a respsonse. try again, or get a gmail account. he has one too, so i was able to talk directly with him on google chat.
 
well mr.detective. not one single person owns surface. you'd KNOW this if you noticed 'collaboration' you can start on the surface website to figure that out.
 
Bump have a few questions about these.

How is the 3 stage rocker and float in pow?

Would these be to fat or big for someone who is moving from Ohio Midwest ice to Montana pow and have never skied big skis? (I ski an Anthem right now)

Anyone have any positive or negative things to say about them?

Are they buttery/playful?

Any other useful info.

I talk to a rep and got a pair sent to me in about a week. There was great comunication and i live in New york. I may have got lucky or something. I havn't rode them yet since the snow is gone but they look awsome.
