so thats a no... haha

any advice on how to move up in the ski industry without knowing people, being from ohio. im not talking about actual skiing because i dont see myself going very far with that, im more interested in the industry supporting the actual skiing. movies, marketing, camps, comps, digging... ect

thanks dude

yeah x games was tuff for me man super tuff!

I went into that comp feeling really good on my skis riding better then ever. and the course was super fun and i was feeling it in practice, I had been working so hard all summer all early season jsut sking as much as possible so i would be ready for X! and when it was time i was stoked! i had worked hard to put myriding right where i wanted to be and in qualifying i wasnt even thinking really about qualifying i was thinking about switch right 9 double flat 3 forward 9 to cab 12 i wanted to win, thats all i was thinking and in qualifying i fell on the last jump i went to big on a cab 9 it sucked! my world stopped for a bit. but tanner was super cool and had some good words for me and i just turned all that frustration into energy and im stoked how my season ended up i grew up alot and am riding better and more confident than ever

cant wait for next year, it will be on

you are in a room with peanut butter and a dog... what do you do?

what superstitions do you have before or during comps?

you could pee in battersby or burke's butt... who do you choose?

name one skier you would like to kick in the nuts

nahh man, im 18. sorry if i sounded stupid or something, i just dont kill it like a lot of kids. im just lookin to be involved in the industry even if its not skiing everyday, and i dont see much opportunity in ohio to be involved. end discussion

doubles are crazy i give it up for that people are doing crazy doubles now, i see some tricks and im jsut like what the hell who had the controller in there hand controlling that dude, like jacob at JOSS this year double cork 12 grabbed all the way stomped, it was crazy.

im not hating on doubles but if people are doing doubles and they make them look good its there own style its cool, but i just kinda think its funny now how many people do em or go water ramping because they have to learn that dub. For me personally idont like water ramping and every trick i do i just do it how it feels most natural, and if im not confident enough to try it on snow for my first time im not into it its not what i want to be doing, im tryin to create my own style of riding.

1. talk to the communications department at your resort for an internship.

2. talk to your resort about hosting competitions, sponsors can be a bitch to work with at first but after a few contests and sponsors realize your legit they'll support your events.

3. Production companies love interns. Email the companies and see if they want your help.

yo sammy, props on gettin the JOSS win and just plain killing it everywhere. it is crazy to think i am almost the same age as you and you have been skiing with the best for years now. i am working hard to hopefully make a name for myself in the industry over the next few years, and i was just wondering what you think the most important things are that you can do in order to get to the next level and continue to rise through the ranks? thanks and keep slayin.

Yeah man.

Ill make a sick one, its all on salomon!

maybe if you guys make threads about it salomon will feel the pressure but im getting ready to start moving in that direction with them soon

YO SAMMY, I THINK YOUR PRO MODEL SHOULD HAVE A PICTURE OF WHAT A MAN'S PENIS LOOKS LIKE, not the little boy one you have. ALSO, THE PRO MODEL SHOULD USE THAT PICTURE OF ME DOING YOUR SISTER AT YOUR GRADUATION ON THE BLEACHERS. good times.

actually i know that answer. bobby brown must get all the ladies with his crazy room mate/wingman(woman)

alright guys. i gotta bounce out to dinner. sammy is gonna stick around for a bit more though. thanks for the questions! peace

HERE'S A REAL QUESTION FOR YOU SAMMY? do you think it's better to have five video segments that don't really capture all of your abilities, but please unknowledgable people like jenny at salomon? or, do you think one banger segment capturing street, big mountain, bc jumps, park, and the rest should carry more weight. I THINK MULTIPLE SEGMENTS THAT CAPTURE PARTIAL ABILITY ARE GAY! you should shoot with one company all year and finally complete a full featured segment. answer me sammy, answer me.
