Little things in life that are 100% mental yet you are convinced make a difference

haha, I totally get this. I've been at work before and not checked the time at all because I was scared what it would say when I checked. When I checked, it was 6:00pm and I was done at 5:00 pm.

not 100% mental, they're cleaner so your fingers slide better, it feels better, and they are lighter (which im not sure makes a difference)

i decide carefully which body wash/shampoo i use in the morning. it has to do with color. when i decide what kind of day i want to have i have to decide which color it goes with. i don't know lol.

when adjusting the volume on the radio or tv i always need to leave the volume number on a -5 or a -0. so its always on like 25 or 30 or 15 or something like that, never on 18 or 6 or something

somehow i always tied the leather bracelet that my gf gave me as a gift to my shoulderpads or try to fit it under the glove. i just had to wear it and felt that some dude would break my neck if i didnt.

i actually do a lot of weird stuff, but i do not think that they make a difference.

maybe one thing, when i walk up to someone or i go to a counter or whatever, simply put situations where you know you will say hello or something in the next seconds, i always say "so.." very silently, almost to myself. idk why but i feel like the conversation is not so stiff or whatever. i just have to do it and it helps me somehow.

this is incredibly true. hitting snooze and dozing off for those extra five minutes makes me feel like i slept an extra ten hours

My alarm is always a bizzare number like 6 57 or something never 7 00. Feels like I'm waking up late if I get up on a round number. Defnitly always have a sticker that goes from my left to right ski so I can put them on the same foot everytime.

happens often that when i look at what time it is , it shows 19:11...makes me think of the world trade center incident , lol scares me

New sticks actually are better though. Perfectly taped marching sticks loose their feel in a week or two, even if they are still in perfect visual condition.

Running to the bus when you still have five minutes to catch it--- Just in case.

it probably did!

Engines use a compression ratio calibrated to a specific fuel octane rating. Use one that is too high and you lose power through not all of the fuel burning or detonating. Use one that is too low and you lose power through the fuel detonating before the spark also known as knock causing the engine to be less efficient. The latter is why ethyl-lead was used in fuel for years. It's prettly likely your compression ratio suits premium. Having said that, being able to 'feel' the difference through the pedals/transmission/steering wheel is pretty un likely unless you're driving a lotus

Having your skis perfectly centermount. Doesnt do anything if they're 1 cm back but it would piss me off so much

Like said before, i totally agree with calling last chair and how its easier to fall asleep at a desk then when u go to actual bed.

But for me I feel that i get more work done when I have headphones in. whether music is playing or not.

this isnt all mental, i thought i was the same way but apparently tv's have different refresh rates and shit and the internet speed affects it and stuff

i prefer forward mount for some unknown reason because i dont even ski switch a shit ton it just mentaly seems mor center

When I drop change, if it doesn't land heads up I don't pick that shit up. I AINT WANT NO CON DAMN BAD LUCK BOI ILL TELL U WUT.

Me too about the alarm thing. I feel like I'm late if I get up after 6:30 so I set my alarm at 6:18 so after snooze it isn't 6:30 yet
