Little pats peak becoming legit?

today was opening weekend and man was i impressed. they had stuff set up so everyone could hit it, didn't have any ride on stuff, made nicely shaped lips, and even had some jumps that weren't too shabby. i'm actually really thinking pats is trying to step up their park game. new park this year too which is a plus. it really isn't that bad of a mountain anymore. one thing i also really like is the snowboarders are starting to mellow and will be chill with skiers now. rode with them all day and got no bad comments or glares.

ben ross is transforming pats into a legit mountain. yes they still discriminate against skiers with snowboard only jams and im sure they will have unskier friendly features but ben worked as a digger at high cascade and he knows whats up. im excited to ride pats and see it get even better

yeah ben ross has a lot to do with it. but also i think phil the park manager is just starting to get tired of hearing shit from skiers. me and some other people from NS have talked with management and they said they are slowly working into more skier friendly parks. already from today i was impressed as everything was fun to hit. things are gonna blow up this year

i was there today. shit was crazy. the ride up i had all expectations set for a possible jump and maybe if i was lucky a short rail, but they had a good 10 features or so! i was wearing purple pants with suspects green poles and a white orange and purple jacket, idk if i saw you.

yeah everything today was pretty good. i think pats is becoming more like crotched where they are super devoted to their park and put litle hits everywhere

i disagree and think that in the next couple years pats peak will be alot better especially with the nee park this year that has its own tow rope. pats will never be a mt snow but for a little area in southern nh, pats has a fun park

i went there today and i have to say for opening weekend it was pretty good for what i was expecting from Pats, but i really hope they improve that park because there was no speed on the jumps, but im excited this year to see what they are doing

They did what they could with the snow they had. Speed is an issue there because it isn't steep at all. But truely those jumps were shaped nicely and you shouldn't be complaining. And also that park is just for pre-season, tubing goes back in there after christmas or during it I think

dont get me wrong i was really happy with what they had, and i dont mean to complain. I just hope that it will improve as the season goes on. And they are changing it back to a tubing hill? What happened to them adding a new park?

agreed.... fun lil preseason park. variation of hits and spaced out pretty well. Would be cool if they kept it there all season, but Pat's makes more money off the tubing thing. some people go crazy over it... whateva

Any1 know when they're going to start shaping turbulance with all the new snow whales they blew on there? I'm guessing early this week?

that's my guess. if they haven't by then, how will they put the snow tubing there, so things should start soon. A true mini park should be open soon as well

a fucking fag, devon therrien and mikey p are making it legit on opening weekend devon was throwing rodeo 5's. but seriously ben ross is a tool and should stop snowboarding now

i went to the little pre season rail jam. bitch was trying to kick me out cause i was the only skier. no skiers allowed. lol "this is for the snowboard team" bla bla bla. it's 2009 bitch, get with the program. there are some cool cats that work PC at pats tho. like Jeff B

devon and mikey have nothing to do with park crew and what goes in the park. its all ben ross and phil grant (the park manager) and couple other guys that work it. don't hate ben unless you actually no him. but yeah he was being a fucking bitch at the rail jam. and his mom bitched out too

yeah i know they dont have anything to do with it, if they did though pats would be the best place for park that isnt in the white mountains

pats peak is definatly stepping up their park game but in no way will their mountain be more fun to ski at then most of the other mountains in NH.

i went today. wasnt so bad, other than the fact that they trained their park crew today or something like that and there was a group of 20+ snowboarders drifting around the park. but besides that they had a decent jump (for early season), flat rail, flat box, s box, a frame, a down culvert, and a shitload of fun rollers. obvs they have plans to add more features.

sick day none the less.

talked to ben ross yesterday and he said they are going to be working on turbulance all week. and then also i think they are starting to blow snow on F5. if anyone was wondering, the stairset is going to be in F5 this year.

pats peak isnt shit...and having a somewhat legit park doesnt make your whole mountain legit...come to Loon...see what a real LEGIT park and LEGIT overall MTN are like...honestly...pats peak?? come on now you can go to sunapee and have a better time then pats.
