Little noobs in the park

ya a beginner park that the beginners dont go in.

i ride at brighton and they have 3 parks

MY O MY is the jump park

CANDYLAND is the "little rails and boxes"

MYJESTIC is the main park with bigger jumps, rail and boxes

the little kids ride at the Myjestic park because a lift is right on top of that run and that lift is mainly to the easy runs and axcess to Myjestic park and they see us do shit and want to try it. i dont blame them. but they shouldnt learn somewhere else not, in the park. and when they learn how to ride they can enter the park and just do straight airs or 50-50s on butter boxes but they should not learn how to ride down a hill in the park.

yea kids should not be learning how to ski in a park...but u cant get mad at them for trying to learn to ride park once they already know how to ski. but also their parents need to know enough to not teach them to ski in the park...its not thier fault....its the parents...

i'd really like to see a 50 lb kid getting 3 feet of air make this "crater" that you're talking about. And even if they do, maybe you should work on getting more than 3 feet of air. you're just trying to pin your frustration on a specific group that really has nothing to do with the problem you're having.

i dont think he is complaining about the kids that are actaully trying to learn. If a kid doesn't make it tot the landing becuse he is afraid that ok. As long as he is rightfully trying. Its when the gaper parents say yea lets on in the park ski ince and slow up to the deck and jsut chill there. The result is pain for them and you when they get hit. I am sure all of you ahve seen the sw720 to little girl tap vid. well that has happened to me, well i didnt tap the girl but i was close, adn it was all becsue her stupid parents thought it would be cool to get there kid to leanr steep slopes on the landing of the biggest feature in the park. Well i didnt't have a chance to yell at the parents becsue like 5 snowboarders beat me to it. haha i guess they are good for something. All i ahve to say is dont get mad at the kid, they dont knwo better but freak on the parents.

yea little kids in the park isnt a bad thing. i always get happy when i see little 5 year olds flying across boxes in the park with no fear. its dumb but as they get older theyll learn to jump 90 degrees.

It would be cool if they just had a big durable flatscreen TV where you line up to do the big jumps, hooked up to a camera that has a good view of the landing.

1) You get to see a good view of your friends sick trick

2) You can see if the landing area is clear

I've brushed a noob asian boarder who was having a rest or something on the landing (he'd obviously been there for a while). Easily could've killed him. He came apologised to me afterwards...

what they need to do is make the entrance to the park a steep narrow couloir with a fifteen foot cornice drop at the top.

yeah as a matter of fact i was. but i rode at solitude for the longest time, where there was no park. and when i could ride i went to brighton for the park

how can you hate on little kids??

thats lame man. get over yourself and...

...they're probably having more fun than you are.

I think its annoying when they ride and cut you off and crap in the real park when they cant even do any tricks or anything. They should be on the beginner park practicing and then go on thew real park when their skills are a littl better.

yea i rly hate that shit i just wanna take them and throw them out of the park

but we have all been at that stage at one time

i agree with this guy and all the people saying to educate the kids.

However, some people (most 10 year old poser snowboarders) won't listen, and they'll still think they're cool because they boarded in the big park.

Park passes are the best thing to eliminate this problem. Parents couldn't take their kids there to ski another run, and racers won't pay, and the dumbass poser kids won't pay either.

where i ski there is this instructor who brings a bunch of faggotass little kids through the park. she tells them whn to go and she tells them not to listen to what we are saying aboutcalling drop. they just roll up and make a huge train through the park that fucks every thing up

my fucking point excatly. fuck you guys who say im gay for hating little kids. this is a great fucking point.

one time on massachusettes vacation week in new hampshire my friend and i got in the most intense yelling fight with this guy and his kids sitting under the landing of one of the jumps... so good!

holy god was that supposed to be "ruining"?

that was terrible.

But, on topic with this thread... yes, little kids in terrain parks can get annoying, but dont even say you were never at that point once. i know i was, give them a chance, just talk to them, and explain how the park works.

all of you saying that you hate these kids must have been born with the innate ability to ski park. get the fuck over yourselves. all you have to do is kindly instruct them how they should be doing things, and everyone will benefit.

soooo true!!! i see those dumbass old parents do that all the time !! they like ride up jumps .. carve right on time and shit!!! geeesh.. if your that old... and not gonna hit it!!!!!

DON'T!!
