Little kids use hotmail??

No I'm not a creeper.

Anyways I'm a swimming instructor and I was running this program called swim to survive for grade 3's (just teaches them basic swimming techniques and such) and at the end of the course all the kids were like OOOOOMG ADD MY HOTMAIL and like 5 3rd graders where telling me their emails simultaniously. So I was like what the hell you guys have hotmail? Your like 8 years old! Then one of the kids said pffft I've had hotmail since I was 6. WHAT THE FUCK?! I had no idea that fuckin little kids have their own hotmails! Just weirded me out and I thought I'd share

Haha seriously, i got my hotmail in grade 5, a good 8 years ago.

Kids these days eh, what next keggers at kindergarten graduation parties.
 
i think what he is trying to get at is how do these little kids find out about hotmail at that age. shouldnt they be out running around, and finding out what bark on a tree is made from?
 
yeah I got mine in 6th grade I think it was. I didn't care about email...but i knew kids who had AIM in 4th grade and whatever. It was weird shit.
 
what's more ridiculous is the amount of little kids that have cell phones. i went into the verizon store the other day to replace my broken phone and i saw at least 5 kids that could not have gotten through middle school all with ill phones. i just don't understand why kids that little would need a cell phone...
 
yeah i never got that either. i was a cit at a camp two summers ago and like three of the kids had the weird type of phone where you can only call three numbers and 911. i found them pretty pointless, especially for kids not even in fourth grade.
 
there are kids in my brother's class (3rd grade) that have cell phones and text.

spoiled pieces of shit, i didn't get a phone until freshman year of high school, and even then it was a fucking go phone.
 
well what do you expect...kids will tinker with anything that avaible.

I didnt get hotmail till 97 or 98...it certianly wasnt around when i was 6 though :P
 
I didn't have hotmail till like my sophomore year of highschool... that's like 16 or something. I didn't have a cell till that year either. It;s insane
 
my dad got me a hotmail account at least 10 years ao in 97 or 98, I would have been in like grade 1. My email address is my name, which is fairly common, I feel like I could get some big bank for investing in such a solid address like the first year hotmail came out.
 
Well I had hotmail when I was in grade 6, but I was 11 or 12 when I got it...not 6! When I was 6 i was still playing like Reader Rabbit and shit like that haha I don't think I could have made much use of hotmail when I was 6
 
Oh man I pwned oldschool learning games like RR 24/7!

You have to remember though that the internet was not as wide spread when we were 6 as it is now. If it had the coverage it has now back when we were kids, I bet we would be on too :P

I bet our parents were thinking the same thing about computer when we were kids (oh man, he's only 6 and he can use the computer so easy)
 
yeah, I didn't get one until highschool. People had them in middle school, but really I had no use for one. It's not like my mom didn't drive me everywhere then.
