its not skiing season anymore but i remember when it was there were all these damb little kids would would just ride in the friggen park like cut like everyone off and not do any jumbs or if they did go at like 2 miles per hour and hold everything up. they pissed my off so much and it got to be such a problem that my tiny little mountain make a 'learning garten' witch was like this tiny little park with like 2 tiny rollers and a rail. it kind of worked. did you have the same probelem at your mountain? (kids who can rip don't count'

dude, the kids who do that are little, give em' a break, nicely teach them their park etiquette (don't stop in front of/on/behind the jumps, hit the jump with enough speed to make the landing, start small and work your way up, don't ski off the little jump with a piece of metal after it unless you plan to slide your skis upon said piece of metal, etc.), and direct them to the kiddie park. Tell their parents too... tell them it's for safety's sake, they eat that shit up! and they wont piss you off anymore.

yeah its more of the old peopel who think the jups are a great place to have a picnic. if some kid cuts me off. yeah it pisses me of. but i have done the same also.. so i just tell the kid what he ore she did and hope they learn from it

i deinfately understand his point though...some parents bring their 2 year old kids in the park to go back and forth, get stuck on the lip, ect..they dont/wont listen when u politely ask them not to do it again because of safety

i watched one little kid get landed on one day at killington, last i heard his neck was broken and he was a parapeligic (spelling). i feel horrible for that to happen to anyone, but the parents should know better then to let their son sit on the landing of a jump, outve sight

yeah kiddie/parent ignorance is to be expected, but it really sucks when they don't listen to a word you say. or when they say ''thanks i'll take them to the kiddie park'' but then still let them fall down on the way up the lip of a 40 footer

or when the little snake line of 12 year old racers go through the park and do stuff like spreads and twisters off the tables.

 
^Well thats acceptable becuase they are out of there quickly, but the worst is when a little 5 year old pizzas down the middle of the halfpipe going about 6 inches up the wall. It takes them about 10 minutes just to get to the bottom of the halfpipe

haha, this past season, me and my friend were skiing in the park and it was infested with little kids who suck, so my friend takes off his skis and stands in the middle of the jump and starts yelling at them. good times

 
this one time a tiny like 5 year old kid went of a jump and like ate it both his skis fell off and he started cring his ass off and his parents were just like chuckleing im like 'WFT! HELP YOUR KID MAN!!'

little kids are incopetent, so they have an excuse.... but older people who ski right in front of features, and right behind them.... they piss me off. They alwways ski REALLY slow and just look at the scenery while i am yelling, 'Get the fuck out of the way.' But they never hear me.

 
happens a lot at my hill and even though it says 'expert skiers only' they go in anyway. i broke my foot two years ago cause a little kid cut me off on the lip... THAT pissed me off. one thing im gonna do though is this: im gonna send a letter to a ski mag that parents read (ski canada)and im gonna tell them to keep their little kids out of the parc... and themselves.

^^^^well dynarider, I read this thread and saw that I was going to make the first post, so instead of just bitching about it (which was my first reaction), I decided to take a deep breath and write something other than 'I hate those little fags'. I wrote something that could actually improve the situation, so that when I'm back in the park next winter, somebody might make the kids go away without killing them or something.

Yeah little kids are incompetitant, but they usually learn pretty fast at my hill. What annoys me is the kids who's parents don't pay attention to what is actually happening to their kids. Like last year, I got hit by this out of control kid and his parental unit walks up and is like 'did you get knocked down baby?' I was tempted to tell her that her kid ran into me, but I just skied off. It's the price you pay. We have great ski technology, awesome parks, and up and coming stuff that will make today's shit look like an old Buck Rodgers movie. But the people who are paying for all this crap are the stupid fucks who come up to the hill for one day and spend $100 or more a person there. It's all a trade off. If you have it, you can go ski BC, but then you might get killed in an AVY, or fall off a cliff, or brain yourself on any number of seen and unseen obstacles. It's life. Life sucks in a lot of ways. Oh well.

 
yah u do get some people, usually the people who ski like twice a year, that suck and are bitches about it, but all little kids gotta stop somewhere, my brother about 1-2 years agohad trouble clearin tables, now he can throw down better then most older kids, so u gotta give the oness who arent blantently disrespectful a break (thats usually parents anywyas)

ha, this reminds me, one time in the park, i was waiting to go and this snowboarder comes out of nowhere and takes my legs out. i fell and them my ski came down and hit his head (he had a helmet on). it was kinda funny

 
there should be snipers in the trees and if you look like a gaper they should blow there fucking heads off

some old ppl piss me off too, i was going to hit a little tabletop and there was a lady on the bottom of the landing showing her kids a park, i flew thru the air and i landed on her legs and took her out, she was pretty good about it, but if you want to show ur kiddies the terrain park, ski beside it, not on it

at my mountain they take the kids to the pipe at the end of the day as a 'treat'.. dont bitch too much if they lyk it well have more newschooler skiiers in the future... and guys dont go to the parents theyre just a bunch of cidiots that dont no what the fuck theyre doing...

no snow..

no girls..

no future..

Snowfall dictates the days activities if its snowing do it another day...
