how many of you have had stupid little injuries that have put you out for a while..im currently sitting on a fractured baby toe on my left foot because i accidently kicked a door. i can walk decently on it but its excruciating to ski with and i fucking hate it.

i am currently sitting home with a really bad cold/fever that i have now had for almost a week and the skiing is great right now

You just need to suck it up!! haha j/k but I have the same thing I was coughing up my lungs the whole way down and the cold burnt my chest so bad! I also had a fever last night but I went up Sat and Sunday...it was totally worth it! It was so nice!

i too have a bad case of the skiiers thumb. it sucks ass. my confidence level has suffered a great deal because of it.

my skiiers thumb haunted me all summer... and after a snowboarer clipped my tails and i slid out... the skiers thumb turned into skiiers hand.

ive had a clavical problem that just keeps on nagging me, i injure it when i was learning rails earlier this year and now it just hurts and i always manage to hurt it, every time i ski.

Knitting its just so damn hot right now!
 
yeah the thumb, but it only stayed/is purple still. otherwise a bruised bone once.

torn ligaments in left thumb, and both knees

weak left knee (some kind of fucked up disease)

compressed disks in my upper spine (from severe whiplash, headbang and bad sleeping positions)

broke and dislocated my left shoulder last year (its still pretty weak and gets very painful sometimes)

right hand middle finger knuckle is busted

burst veins and bruises in my right leg that don't really hurt at all but if I take one fall on that portion of my leg I'm pretty much in too much pain to want to do any more skiing for the day.

Now this is a stoooopid boo-boo it was last summer and i was just messing aroound wit my bro and we were like fake fighting and i hit him really soft and i broke my hand. It was a 'boxing fracture' and i couldnt do any thing all summer,

first day skiing in december I hit a tree with my leg when I fell skiing switch... I think I bruised the bone or sumthing cuz I couldnt ski for a few weeks

 
i tore my mcl early season put me out for six weeks. then i fractured my heel on a table. i can ski with the heel thing but i cant land on it at all or else it hurts like shit.
