i know you guys know this probably exists but i just tried the site and apparently you cant upload music anymore from youtube, a notice pops up saying youtube has increased security or something. anyone have any alternative methods to the get the songs from youtube videos?

just go to download.com and search 'youtube mp3 converter' problem solved. i use this one and it works fine:

That would explain how I couldn't get what I was looking for off the site... I thought it was listentoyoutube's fault. Guess not.
Oh well, I learned how to torrent in something like 5 minutes, and that is so much easier if you can find one...

can you torrent just single songs though? i always torrent and find a list of the artist's discography and i really dont feel like downloading 2.5 gb of just one artist's music

Well, in Transmission (I don't know what program you use), as long as the file isn't a zipped file, you can pick which songs you want to download. So as long as you know the album you can just download those certain songs.
