Liquid nails?

I already tried the searchbar so u 14 year old ganstas can calm down.

Does anybody know what the deal is with liquid nails? Like how good are they compared to regular nails? And should I use them in a backyard rail or not. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

use nails for 2x4's and wood that needs to be sturdy, and u should probably use nails or screws to hold on pvc, but for boxes, i find it works really good to use a wood to plastic exterior liquid nail bonder thing to hold on the topsheet, but other then that just use nails or screws

yeah, just make sure that you screw down the top sheet after with "perferated" screws..just like set them in so you dont him em

this really only works with topsheet thats thicker than 1/4 inch. and a countersink bit helps a lot too

would this work on metal? i may build a shotgun rail, and im thinkin bout usin this for just the middle support because im not sure if i can counter sink it, and for the outside supports i can screw in through the openings

if you mean just the liquid nails holding in the support, then no, and you can probly just counter sink to the side of where you grind

When my dad and I built my setup, we used liquid nails along with screws on everything, making my setup rock hard
