alright, so I'm down here in the shitty for a week to visit my girlfriend - but she's working during the week and I'm already bored of drinking by myself and it's only Monday. Forecast is calling for rain till wednesday or so...

I'm under the understanding that the diving board is gone, but would anyone be interested in jumping some cliffs on Thursday if the weather is nice?
 
not just the diving board. everything is gone. rope swing, hammock, slide, and diving board.

anyways, we will rebuild, it's just going to take some time. that place was over two decades in the making until some crazy local (we have strong evidence as to whom) went nuts and took all the toys down.

its all been taken down?!?! ive been looking forward to going to that diving board for sooooo long but i dont drive so getting there was tough...

you know, it would have been quicker to just take the caps lock off than to write "sry to lazy to take off caps lock..."
 
so i was just up there yesterday and the rope swing is still there. buddy probably didn't want to climb the tree to take it down and just left it.

it's funny how everything but the rope swing got taken down, when the rope swing is probably the most dangerous thing there. that's how you know that the city didn't take it down, or the rope swing would have been the first to go.
 
yah the rope swing is still there, but it was cut in half. It used to be longer; although it is still usable. To fill in for the diving board we now have to do stuff like this:

so much safer.
 
This made me think of the photos of Travis Steeger setting up a trampoline on top of like a 60 foot pier and throwing the most retarded shit. I'll see if I can find them again.
