this is exactly how I feel about this shit. "WHAT IS THIS A FUCKING FLIGHT SIMULATOR!?"

they are slowly moulding us out of PC/regular habits and into their mac lion ways! purposely taking away everything that was normal to us.

they are making it a real new and different machine. its stupid as fuck, but smart (business wise).

am i crazy? or does this seem legit?
 
I've had no problems with Lion on any of my Mac's.After a minute my mind was already adjusted to reverse scrolling, actually feels more natural.

And the guy in the video is just a waste of oxygen. "Hurr durr I'm getting frustrated for no reason what so ever, just for making video and getting views etc..."

 
So should I actually stick with snow leopard? My dad bought lion and told me to buy it for my computer and our desktop but I've been hesitant... Partially because geektool won't work haha and I've also heard it sucks

by no means am I saying that windows 7 is in anyway superior to snow leopard.

Windows has it own sets of problems that drive people to the simplicity of the mac. However, just as this guy was saying mac is loosing that edge
 
While lion sucks, its helped propel Apple to the worlds largest publicly traded company. They have done alot to that industry. They are trying to push their vision of how computing should be really hard and making all non tablet/phone based computers more like an ipad etc. Its smart for marketing as people get use to their home computer and the transition to an ipad/iphone is 40x easier.

just hold off a few months, anyone who upgrades their OS the day a new one comes out is retarded. There are 100% going to be problems
 
i did the exact same thing, except i didnt put it on a usb drive i just installed it on my computer and it worked fine. does the install that you did make it a clean install and erase everything?
 
That guy obviously is just a so-called "MacFanatic" and an irate one at that. Everything he bitched about and "had to Google" would have been damn easily solvable if he actually knew anything at all about handling computers.

It's so funny to see someone like him adore a brand/product until it does something he dislikes and they get mad and bent about it to post a 15 minute rant on the Internet. I don't know how old that fucker is, but he is a good example of all the bad stuff going on with our few last generations and a damn good addition to the "White People Problems" meme.
 
Thankfully I don't even have to work on Apple computers anymore. They are for simpletons to work on.

Apple computers = no future, your pay is capped @ like 32-36k. You spend your days watching your job disappear as less things break on computers.
 
not really a fan of Lion. Nothing too drastically wrong with it but i guess i just don't like the change. My iChat (yes i still use iChat) has become completely fucked and won't log me in at all though... i've tried everything

Ahh fuck mom, ham and cheese again?!!?!?! What the fuck is this? Jesus fuck! Poor guy, I hope they find the right medication soon.
 
I don't know about you guys but I'm actually enjoying lion. And btw, all my geektool widgety things still work fine.
 
I like it. But then again I've never used anything besides XP, so I'm not sure how it compares to the other mac OS.
 
lion has too much pointless stuff, the inverted scrolling is easy to turn off, and i hate how they changed around all the trackpad shortcuts. I changed some of them back, but I cant use all of the ones i used in lepord
 
That dude is a fucking tool. If he had any sense at all he would go into system preferences and change the mouse scroll to, "Not Inverted" What a fucking idiot.

and that inverted scroll works great on a laptop, it feels better than the regular
