Line warranty.

SO last night I went out and bought some new 186 blends. Today when i was riding them I rode them very lightly, no rails or stuff like that. I go out to the car to go home and I notice huge dents in one of the edges and 2 places where the topsheet is peeling up and wood is exposed. Do you think this is warrantable material?

well dents in the edge is definitly your fault, now is the topsheet just like peeling from the tips or tails, or does it look like it was just sliced. if sliced, your fault also. pics needed on this one.

You really can't warranty dented edges, in what possible way could it be Line's fault that you dented your edges? Unless they came like that it's your fault. I really wouldn't worry, they'll be beat up in the park anyway, if they start delaming or something Line seems to be awesome so I wouldn't worry as long as they ride.

I have dealt with the line warranty quite a few times. and If it is large enough that the wood is showing they should warranty it with ease. If you bought it at a shop they can give you a better idea about how extensive the warranty will go depending on the damage you have done. But for the most part Line is awesome about the warranty, and usually any kind of delamming can be taken care of if serious enough. Sometimes even if not that serious.

Good Luck man!

those damn leprocons!

yeah first day the top sheet on my 07 invaders peeled up right infront of the binding and you can see the wood. not sure what to do about. this is just cosmetic right?

cellphone picture of the edge.

the pictures arnt the best but it kinda looks like it should be but i cant tell. take them to your shop and ask them

those are tiny, dont worry about it

my anthems looked liked that after the first day, now i have real problems because you can see the wood for about a foot long and a inch wide of the topsheet. But even that doesnt really matter because the wood is heavily laminated and no water will get in untill you break the clear coat right on top of the wood that is below the graphic.

Its not the point if its nothing or what not. He simply does not want to ride around on slightly fucked up skis if they are warrantable. Dents in the edges like that should never happen. the cut could habben from edges cutting into it. but even still the the cut is pretty deep. At the least Take them to your shop, and if not that send Lineskis.com an email and show them the pics(recommend getting clear ones first)

I am telling you, these are your best options. and do it sooner then later so they you can find out if you can ride them for the season and return them, or return them as soon as possible and have some skis for the spring skiing!

I just got a brand new pair of Blends from Line because my old Chronic Blends started delaminating. I didn't ride the old ones hard or anything but I did hit a lot of rails with them (also had dented edges) and they replaced em in about 3 weeks (Holdiday season FTL).
