which one does everybody like better and why?

i like them both,but i ride line so i like my line skis better than k2

k2s pretty sick , but i have to go w/ line cause i have skied them and they are out of b town. + i thnk is it good to stick w/ compaines that are mostly freeride specific... and not so much of massive corps. i think both are pretty big, thats why i like new compaines more.

k2 is way better. line had it great during there first few years of production when their skis used sandwich construction and werent capped. Im sure the line elizabeth is going to be a great ski, but overall i find k2s just a burlier ski. the stronger the better.

i foresee K2 as being the ski version of Burton. Lots of pretty dope stuff. But confused as to whether they are a core company or a coporate whore. This can be taken as a good or a bad thing. Burton makes sick shit, but it also has some downfalls. If you see what I am getting at you will know, if not, I don't feel like pointing out the similarities and trends, but you will see. Remember what burton is liek right now, and wait 5 years and remember this.

k2 is better because they dont fall apart after hitting one rail

Line skis are way better now than when they used the sandwich construction. I've skied Line since 2001 and the product has come a long way. The early skis were super sketchy on hard snow but every year Line has made the product better drawing on knowledge from previous skis as to what works and what doesn't. That being said I'm pumped for the return of the yummy sandwich constuction and to see how the Elizibeth is going to ride.

Line vs. K2? Line all the way. (hurray for k2 graphics though)

 
haha well whats that based of off since you ahvent riden either brand? i like lines a lot better. they are so durable! i didnt have 1 cracked edge or gash in the 60s days of skiing on my pollards this year

I've skied the Fugative, the public enemy, and the Seth Pistol from K2 and the Chronic, and the skogens from line. and i enjoyed skiing the puclics the most. and i did like the skogens mor then fugative, i'd still go with k2

Anyway, a gas station we pass. We got gas, and ran off to get grub.It was a nice little pub in the middle on nowhere. Anywhere woulda been better. I ordered enchiladas and I ate 'em, Ali had the fruit punch.

K2 .. You can actually stand on them and make a turn. Plus, they are way cooler for warranty.

Lines are mush, they aren't finished well out of the plastic, one pair has even camber, the next bent out of the box. I don't care about core -- gimme something that rips, and something that I can get a second pair for free when I trash em

 
i have had both but my lines were mavericks(eww) and now i have this years fugis so they are 2 completely different skis

wow that is a very tough call line makes some great skis but k2 just has soooo much experience in the ski industry i think i'm gunna have to go with them for now but line will still progress like it has alreadt progressed the sport

well two of line's athletes switched over to K2... bibby and michelle parker but i dunno what the reason was. i have skied only on k2 and they are excellent

They both have their strong points, personally I like the ride of k2s better. I think that although k2 is corporate, they aren't like many companies that do their own thing with their twins and don't get riders based on pay. They are obviosly dedicated to the freeride part of the sport, so I think that they are the shade of grey on the whole "support dedicated companies" argument.

Line is inovative no doubt, but remember that before the invader, the fujative had the same concept of "butter zones"

 
corporate v.s. core thats what it comes down to k2 owns a ton of shit and makes a great pair of skis no doubt. I ride line because i got a good deal on a pair that was demoed. Doesn't matter what ever was cheaper enemy vs chronic wide i would take what was the cheapest they're both very good skis

i used to have a pair of lines but i hted them and got me some PE'S

I've ridden PE's, I like 'em. But I've got chronics, which I love.

I prefer line, but K2 is a sick company, and I wouldn't think twice ti buy k2.

K2s are better than old lines, New lines are better than K2. and line is a core company so buy from them.

K2 cus they just got a straight up sick line and the pubs are awesome, although line has gotten way better recently

if its about "who is more core" than go with line, but it shouldnt affect the skis as well. k2 is making skis since, i dunno, ever. so they are stable as hell and can be skied on ice. but lines just look sicker and i would like to get the chronics wide. i am looking on them next year.

if you just ski the park i think line is getting real good now but ive always been partial to k2, the public enemies are bombproof and sick as hell in the park and pipe, but i can take them to a groomer or soft snow and rip it up there as well.

Equipment is expensive, and i need lots of new stuff, i love being a poor college student!!!!

I actually have a couple pair of Line's and K2

I like em both.

I think the best skis I have ever owned were the Line Dragon 193cm
