Line Traveling Circus Skis

Everyone says line skis are really cheap but I'm looking at getting a new pair of skis next year. are they any good, I want to know how durable they are, their weight, their stiffness, if the topsheet chips easily, and finally if the edges crack easily.
 
Skis are pretty fun, although they're heavy but it doesn't matter to much as they're not made to do 40 ft jumps and doubling. They're pretty durable although I wouldn't thrash them.
 
soft and buttery, very light (spin 3s on tiny ass jumps) extremley durable. i have skied urban, rocks and sticks, natural features, pavement, everything. top sheet is very strong and won't chip easily. edges are beasts and don't chip easy. again, pavement, rocks, sticks and nothing happened. i have beat these things to hell and they look only lightly used
 
well my history with line has been good and bad. Its like one year they make good skis and the next year not so much. I had a pair of 2011 masterminds, my first twin tip i had a blast on those skis. Pros-light weight, great pop,. Cons top sheet was junk and side wall started to de lam, and the base didnt hold up to well. My friend Chris had a pair and they de lamed to maybe its just that model but im not shure. But the Traveling Circus skis looks pretty sick id give em a shot.

The mastermind is the cheapest ski Line makes. If you're full grown or close I'm not surprised you had problems with it. You get what you pay for.

The TC is much like a beefed up Mastemind. Its still a cap ski with a full wrap edge. Don't expect it to last you a few seasons if you're riding it hard. its not made for that. if you want more durability look to Future Spin and Chronic.

have u only ever had TC's? they are by no means light....

after bangs are heavy, TC's weigh more they're line's 2nd heaviest twin (the opus is the only on heavier)

i used to have some really wide pow skis that weighed so much. compared to that ya they are light

Well yeah but how is that of any help to the OP.

The tc is a weird ski. Its made for lapping little jib parks. You will not be riding them in big west coast parks on big jumps or carving them round the mountain. The full cap makes them very soft and rather hard to hook up an edge.

So if you like to mainly jib smaller features they will suit you perfectly but if you also like to jump, carve, ski ect then they will not be the ski for you.
 
If you are going to be skiing lots of urban stuff than I highly recommend the traveling circus. Or the afterbangs. Both these skis are not light at all. But if your not hucking off huge jumps and cliffs and doing doubles you should be fine. They are very good for butters though. If you really want a lighter ski I would look into the chronics and future spin.

ahahah fine they're light compared to really wide pow skis, too bad they're park skis, and they're super heavy, do some research then come and argue they are hella heavy
 
I don't know why people are saying they have beefy edges, a friend of mine's edges ripped out after about 30 days and had a huge amount of edge cracks. They are pretty buttery though.
