Being Irish, I guess I should resent the Notre Dame nickname 'The Fighting Irish.' After all, how long do you think nicknames like 'The Bargaining Jews' or 'The Murdering Italians' would last? Only the Ironic Irish could be so naively honset. I get the feeling that Notre Dame came real close to naming itself 'The Fuckin Drunken, Thick-Skulled, Brawling, Short-Dicked Irish'

the boot is pretty sick, it has three different settings, one for all mountain, which is nice and stiff, one for park, which is soft forward flex, but still good stiffness backwards, and walk mode which soft flexing forward and backward. the cool thing is the flex is smooth so even in the stiff setting you wont get shin bang

what do you mean by smooth? i've heard that it has a continual flex and i've seen them and all they have are ratchet buckles. am I to assume that they're like hard snowboard boots? yeah, i've been meaning to ask the question but i keep forgetting

i mean the flex doesnt just end at one point like in other boots, its called a progressive flex, it gradually gets stiffer until eventually you cant flex it, but it wont go to a certain point and stop unless you are herman maier or something. it does have ratchet buckles, but they need to be, so that the tongue can bend and you get the nice flex i was talking about. withoug the straps the way they are the boot would have a flat spot stopping the forward flex

the are real nice. they help alot whit shin bang. they are a little soft, and feel kinda squirlly at high speed. they don't ski as good as my old X-Screams, but they are way comfy and feel awsome when landing
