Actually PRO is short for PROFESSIONAL... meaning you get paid, it is your PROFESSION.... there are actualy PRO skiers out there that lack 'mad skill' entirely.

 
fuck that. evan is better than eric pollard. everybody says how stylie eric is, but if you watch stereotype and sm3, he looks like complete shit. hes deffinatly the shittiest poop on the line squadron. nick, sprang, dash, and wilson all destroy him style wise.

Eric's great, I mean no disrespect, but I'm real sick of every one sucking his nutz and giving him credit for being the next big thing...he's one in a hundred guys spining slow and skiing backwards. Just like Boyd says in the november Freeze there are a ton of guys out there who can rip the pros apart. That said, Eric is good, just not god.

nah i think brad holmes doesnt deserve to be sponsored, i mean he helped start skiing and whatnot but there are a shit load of people better than him, a ton at park and rails and some unsponsored people at big mtn.

okay, i just gotta say...please stop making the FARP video things. Its cool if you wanna make them and all, but dont make a website about it etc. Or at least get better first. You are hurting the industry. When snowboarders see skiers like Fred and Randall doing stupid flailing 360 attempts 8 inches off the ground, they laugh there heads off, and skiing takes another blow. getting sponsered is all about knowing people.. there are TONS of sick skiers out there that have no sponsers, but could destroy most pros.

You might think (and I don't know why) that Pollard lacks style, but then eventually you will realize that he is going switch unnatural and unnatural in most of his segments. That is why he is pro. I don't know if you've ever gone switch unnatural 5 but it turns out to be pretty difficult.

being professional is more about marketing then skiing now-a-days anyways...look at plake, morgan, holmes...u don't see them putting up podium finishes anymore but because they're house hold names they're kept on the team because their names alone sell products. and whats up with everyone bashing on Evan Rapps? hes a sick skier who happened to get hurt thats why he had a shitty segment in happy days...so injuries come and they go but don't rip someone till u know the story
