Line TC, Moment PB&J, Armada Al Dente, or stanston attack

Hey guys, I'm looking for some advice. I'm 5'7" and 170lbs I currently ride 176 Salomon suspects and want to get new skis. I mostly ride all mountain and park probably 50/50. I just started last year so I am still learning but I was brought up skiing until I was 12 then switched to snowboarding so I'm learning quick. Currently I can do hand rails and 3s but I hope to improve this year.

I want a good all round ski with good swing weight, some form of rocker, buttery, holds on jumps, close to symmetrical (I can go backwards but I don't ride switch much) and somewhere between 90-100mm wide.

Options in my price range and available to me are 178 line TCs, 182 moment PB&J, or 178 al dentes. I also noticed Stanston Attacks but there isn't much info on them. Descriptions sound good. What do you guys suggest?? I'm worried the moments will be too stiff and not playful enough but the TCs are maybe too soft for all mountain?

If pb&js are within your price range go for them for sure! One of the sickest looking skis, (shape and graphics) plus are perfect for what you described

PBJ's have a fun shape, but they definitely are not buttery. Read blister gears reviews, they say they work in the park, but its not optimum. There are much better skis in the 100mm waist category for park. But If you want a ski for park/crud blasting, than look no further, the pbj crushes it in crud and "works" in the park.

I have the 188 and they were a mistake. I wanted a fun ski like my old 183 line blend, just a bit faster.. OH No, the pbjs are more like a big mountain ski. They are pretty darn stiff for having no metal.. I should have sized down I guess, but these things are less nimble than my Blizzard Cochise.

Thanks for the input!

The PB&Js are for sale locally with 2013 look pivot 14s and the skis are mint not a mark on them. My concern is 182cm and being stiff I might find them difficult to use in the park and to learn new tricks.I'm in Canada so everything is more expensive haha.

New 2014 Line TCs $360 CAD shipped to my door

New 2014 al dente are $440 USD shipped

Used PBJs with Look Pivots used 5 times no scratches on skis both top and bottom, he wants $650 CAD locally

Stanston Attacks are $450 CAD free shipping they also have K-10for $375 but they aren't wide.

I think ON3P Kartel 98 would be ideal but I don't wanna spend $675 on just the skis.

Anymore thoughts?

Those Stanson skis look really nice haha. But not a lot if people have ridden them so it might be hard to find info on those.

If you'd like more infos on Stanston Skis, let me know! ronny@stanston.com

I'm sure you would love the K-10 or the Attack 2014-2015!
