Line skis?

idk what to believe about line skis because people say they arent very reliable and they break easily so could someone hepl me out
 
i think Line is legit. I can't speak for all the skis, but I've got the first year prophet 100's, the ones with like the coat of arms on them, and they're such a solid ski.
 
I've been riding my chronic blends for three years and they have held up better than any other ski i've ridden. i snapped my pe's in half a season and i cracked the core on my fugatives. one of the best skis out there.

watch out for the chronic blends tho they are hella stiff for me and hard to butter but super stable. great all around ski.
 
The concern with Line skis all goes back to the 05-06 Invaders - they had manufacturing issues in China (first year they outsourced - prior to that they manufactured in Canada) and those things delaminated like crazy. Line is really good with warranties, and they replaced mine with no questions asked. I have been riding on the 06-07 Invaders they sent me as replacements for two full seasons.

I also own a pair of Prophet 130s and a pair of Prophet 100s - both are awesome. My brother has a pair of 05-06 Chronics that have been holding together suprisingly well despite a cracked edge.
 
Yup, it's just the lines before they moved to the k2 factory. I have the 07 invaders, and they are holding up really well for a cheap ski. I love those skis so much. So fun.
 
Sorry, meant to say it's only those lines that had issues. The rest since then have been amazing.
 
VERY LEGIT!!!...as said above any problems with Line go back to the 06 invaders...they delammed, but warrarnteed them immediately...mine went to hell half way through the 07 season and they sent me a new pair of 08 invaders with no questions asked....they are a solid company with great prices and policies.
 
Well, yeah, but when K2 bought them they moved factories to the one in China that K2 uses, so they have to live up to the K2 tests and durability.
 
K2 makes a quality ski and has improved the quality of Line skis in the past few years. Line skis are very legit, they make a great ski for everyone no matter what you want to ski, I'm really looking forward to the Mothership!

but rails, rocks, and trees arnt exactly the best things to be hittin your skis wit...

i had the 05 chronics and i loved em! they were pretty stiff for my liking, but great, durable skis. i used em for 2 seasons, and now there my urban, pre/late season skis.

I have been using Line skis for 5 years now and the only issues I ever had was with the '06 Invader. Any issues that I have seen my friends have with them Line has taken care of them. The new line up of skis is sick and honestly they are making some of the most innovative skis on the market.
