iv noticed it was for sure a east coast ski befor a west coast... right

and me personaly i dont like them, i think they r kinda over rated..

go ahead bash my thread

1. searchbar

2. its an everything company

3. your a terrible person for judging something due to acouple flaws

4.they hold out for me

5. someone delete this thread, its pointless

You probably never even ridden a pair before. And they not over rated, ninthward is over rated, there like a ghost now.

an east coast ski? wtf are you talking about line makes a bunch of skis for all kinds of skiing

and they rock the socks off lemurs so there

no line is like all other companies they make all types of skis for everything and sometimes make really good skis and sometimes screw up and make a crappy model sometimes

dude you would have had to have ridden every single 08 and 07 line ski to make this thread, and i really doubt you have even ridden one pair of the 08s..

actuall y i have rode the chronics and invaders for most of last year im just saying that i think they will end up like alot of ski companys that wash up within 2 seasons

and by east coast i mean that i noticed they where alot bigger hit on the east befor the west coast not saying that they where designed for east coast

why would they wash up in 2 seasons when they've been in buissness since '95, and have been getting better and better over the last few years?

i just think the way the ski industry is growing right now with alot of companys their time is soon to be up

i personaly just dont think the skis are made with good quality

i really dont think so. since liberty didnt really take off. If you asked everyone on this site if they know who Line are, it'd be 99-100% yes, but now with liberty a handful would.

seriously no company can prevent you taking chunks out of your topsheet, no company can completely prevent edge cracks, no company can prevent you from getting core shots, and no company can completely prevent delam, i'd would say that so many people bitch about line's quality because so many people have them and drag their skis through the parking lot and fuck em up line probably sells 10x more skis than any other "core" company armada doesn't even come close to them and that is their biggest competitor, so of course there are going to be 300 threads stating "i delammed my 06 invaders" because line sold so many of them, i personally know people who are still using their 06 invaders and going strong it's all how you treat your skis

i agree, prophet 130's are totally an east coast ski, bring those to the west, there's no way you can ski the pow with only 130 mm waist

badabing.... i've seen prolly 40-50 sets of armadas all season at my mtn. and probabaly over 200 sets of invaders alone for line, thats without counting chronics and all others

get off the line hating bandwagon you fucking noob, they do nothing but progress our sport, and our sport wouldn't be the way it is without them, there would be no armada, k2 wouldn't be making 10 different pairs of twins, no 4frt, tanner hall would probably be some ski bum washing dishes just to get by

honestly dude that is just straight up wrong. have you seen the new chronics? cause they are probably the best everything ski you can buy. have you seen the new invaders? cause they are bombproof. lizzies? dont need to explain. EP pros? I haven't ridden them but I'd say it's safe to say that's a "west coast" ski. they make a ski for every kind of skiing you could want to do. chronics aren't fat enough? the blend. lizzies/bacons/EPs are too soft to charge? prophets. I think line has done a great job of making skis to make everyone happy which is why they shouldn't be in any danger of going under. and the only skis with bad quality were one year of invaders.

LIES!! ALL LIES!!

THIS MAN IS FULL OF LIES!!

ive been skiing on line skis since the 02(?) blue 1260 ski

that held strong for 3 years with me, then 1 more yearwith another person

then, went to a pair of used 04 motherships for another year, sold them, and lasted another year.

im still riding line

there still growing in popularity

Ahha, alright buddy.

Yeah, I can definitely see how an increased budget, segmented industry experience rivaling that of the European based Goliaths, an image that remains relatively cool year after year, and values lying in helping skiing become better...

yeah, might as well just write them off altogether, rather than give them a chance to rebuild their team to where it was however many years ago, and where their brand positioning was before revenues started to fall because they chose to take risks that could have helped skiing a lot.....

I can't even beleive you made this thread, your ignorance is astounding. Line has been making skis to do what we do for over 10 years, just because you are a moron and don't know what's going on doesn't mean they haven't been around more than 3 years. Line skis are amazing, the pairs I've owned have held up better than any other ski company I've bought from. K2 now owns them, which means they'll have even more money for R&D and the skis will just get better and better.

The mere fact that Eric Pollard rides for them and designs alot of the skis they sell is a huge bonus, and people will buy them just because of that.

Bottom line: Line isn't going under anytime soon, they'll continue to get support from the riders who've always supported them, and more and more people will be buying them in the future.

No it's not cuz K2 bought Line so unless K2 fails (unlikely) Line will always have finacial support.

Dude, Line has been on the '4frnt' of the skiing industry for several years. Sure, some of their skis had durability problems, but anyone remember the original k2 enemys? I went through like 3 pairs of those badboys. Think about the whole Pollard revolution, and the barriers he is breaking. Remember when his prophet 130s were absolutly insane? Now almost every company has skis that are around that.

i'm waiting for them to release his 150 prototype, those skis are wider than most of the kids on this website's dicks are long

word, i do dabble in other brands but line has made my favourite skis. last year i got Blends and they skiied better than rossi 9x oversizes. thats saying something.
