Line skis...?

So I know what 2 skis I want and I know alot of people aren't down with Line skis but I would like some helpful advice from anyone willing on which model to pick up. I have narrowed it down to the Sir Francis Bacon or the Elizabeth. I'm just wondering which one will work better for me. I'm 5'10'' and weigh 195. I plan on just using these skis to play around and butter with on the hill and in the park. My home mountain is The Summit at Snoqualmie... If there's any other information that would be helpful just let me know. Thanks

Whoa whoa whoa... Your talking about a butter/park ski? I'd stay away from the Bacon's and Lizzy's, and go towards the invader, you'll also save yourself a chunk of cash.

Wait dude...the lizzies and bacons are a wider ski more for pow. Sure they would work in the park but you describe your main use of these skis for just messing around in the park so wouldnt you want more of a park ski? If i were you i would get something like the invaders...or if you want a more all mountain ski i would go with prophet 80s or 90s, but if youre looking for more of a park ski def dont go with lizzies or bacons.

for the PNW you should not just ski the park but I see you already have AK enemies and also ARV's so I would say for the park...the invader.

but the chronic is probably good too, you're a bigger guy.

K so I forgot to mention I am a big fan of backcountry booters and that I really want a fat ski. I love the fattys and can't get away from it now that I've been rocking them. I ride the whole mountain though and I pretty much just wanna be using this ski for everything.

then I suggest Jp vs Julains. I have been riding mine on groomers/chopped up snow for 3 weeks now, and they kill it. They handle like a park ski, only they float.

He is almost 200 lbs, like me....these skis are NOT too wide for park if you are a larger, more aggressive individual. The Elizabeth may be too SHORT, and if you do just want them for playing around, the Bacon would work. I actually ski my Prophet 100's in the park all the time, in a 186...

some of the park rats here need to hit the gym or something, not all of us weigh 140lbs soaking wet with our boyfriend's jizz on us...

jk, rats...

As has been mentioned enough, you dont want the lizzies or the bacons.

The invader seem to be the best for you I think. Good park ski and they are wet noodles, great for butters. Also my friend has T-Halls (armada) and they are good for park and butters, probably a better bet than the invaders.

I have last years Chronics and they are nice for all mountain and park. Not for butters though, quite stiff.

why wouldnt you want bacons or elizabeths???? those skis are fucking dope. get the elizabeths for sure if they fit you

I think at your weight the invader might be too much of a noodle. The elizabeth is too short for you. The bacons would work, I mean I ski THA in the park and they do fine. If you only want to get lines try looking for some moships. If any ski will do, the seths are soft enough to be fun in the park, and wide enough to hold up in the BC.

Hey, despite what a lot of people have said about Elizabeth/Bacon not being a park ski, the Elizabeth is in fact a park ski. It is Pollard's park ski and you can find out more information about that by going to lineskis.com and reading the "development story" on the Elizabeth page. If you want a fat park ski, it would be a great choice. Bacons are longer and a little wider, but the flex is different. It is probably still symmetrical (like the Elizabeth), just a little stiffer. You could e-mail the Line guys on their Contact Info page to find out for sure.
