awyeah. i've wanted a pair of lines for forever and ive finally bought my first pair of chronics! super stoked to get em' and ride them.

how do the chronics perform for a all mountain jib ski is it stiff? good pop? looking at a pair for next year

meh. they do have some really good skis. but you cant say they are the best for everything. sure they have good park skis and the bacons are super sick but there are other ski companys that are just as good IMO.

Line definitely has it covered in all aspects of freestyle skiing. This is not to say that other companies do not but Line has a legit line up of skis.

Park jibbing- Afterbang, Anthem

Park bigger jumps and all-mountain- Chronics and chronic cryptos

Powder- Bacon, EP pro, Elizabeth

Big mountain charging- Mothership

I probably missed one or two but there is the general idea.

Invaders-too short now but I absolutely loved them. Replaced with couple year old Chronics. Also Elizabeth, which is fun everywhere and the bomb in all conditions.

i ride last years anthems. they dont butter so well but thats because im only about 120lbs. but they are very poppy and the flex is perfect for bigger jumps and features. love em. the width is just perfect, not to wide for the hardpack and super stable, i might even take em in some powder. either later in the season or next year im gonna pick up either Afterbangs or Rossignol S3 Koopmans (depending on whether im riding more park or pow/bc). another ski im lookin at are Icelantic DaNollies or Icelantic Nomad SFTs (105 underfoot!!!).

Ordering some Chronics with PX 12 Wide's on them this week! Can't wait. Heard really good things about them for an all mountain ski

i got a pair of 07/08 chronic blends and they slay EVERYWHERE. just picked up a pair of spirals and cant wait to get them in the park. plus i got a pair of 05/06 x-fly ski blades that i beat the shit out of and are still killing it

One time, when I have money to spend, and I'm still living on some small mountain east coast areas, I'm gonig to buy a pair of lizzies to have fun on.

new anthems ok top sheet.... fucking awesome looking base great pop love butterzone

topsheet needs work in terms of durability though... it peels off like warm butter

I would agree with you, but most of their skis are too small in length for me. My first pair of skis were Chronic Wides 187s and they were PERFECT. I regret ever selling them. After that season, line changed the chronic wide specs to the freeride specs with the blend and it just didn't feel the same... now I ride ninthward and am glad I made the switch.

i just ordered invaders 08/09 today!! super stoked. hopefully theyll come in mid next week so i can ride them the following weekendd

sorry to inform you lines cheap skis are...cheap. They have some great higher quality skis, but generally line is just superior in marketing to NS, and noobs.

EP Pros- So Soft, So fat, so much fun and such a charm in the powder. They are real eye grabbers its awesome.

Chronics are awesome, have fun.

Anybody else love the way they seem to want to explode when you go over a roller or off a jump. Explode as in they have good pop, not fall apart. Also landing backwards is really fun for some reason.

eh, theres only been a couple screw ups that were notable in line's history, the black and white invaders and their delaming, and other top sheet issues. and this was all happening while being made in the u s of a. now taht theyve been moved to china/k2 it would seem theyd be more "cheap" but infact seem better. most of the skis this "cheapness" woudl happen on are capped skis, as opposed to sidewall. ive had two pairs of capped "budget" line skis (invaders and olddddddd darkside ((best park ski ever)))
this argument could also be had on salomon, who has notorious binding explosion issues on older "high end" bindings, and their 1080s with the space frame (foam). not so comparatively being a huge company, but still, a ski company.

and theyre cheap because they cost next to nothing, and you get what you pay for. but on the inverse, look at the afterbang in person, and tell me line is cheap. shit is sooooooooooooooooooooooo sick.
all in all, i love line, and will definitley be getting some afterbangs in the future.

i got lizzies this year and they're definitly the best skis i've ever ridden on. with the short sidecut they shred groomers and they don't feel as wide as they really are. the width is definitly noticable on rails cuz they make balancing easier. and in pow they are killer.

All ive ever owned were lines... Im getting out of that habbit next year and getting some Moment Reno Rockers
