Line ski sizing vs. k2 skis

I am looking into getting some k2 skis for next season, and I have the afterbangs now in 177, I was just wondering how the 179 domain would be in size comparison to them. Thanks
 
By my knowledge K2 measures their skis long(er), so a 179 may be around the 182ish range. But it will ski shorter due to the rocker and centermount. They will be longer than your afterbangs
 
Alright, so the ski would appear taller but the effective edge would be about the same as my current ones. Also does anyone own the domains and could tell me the what they think of them? Specifically the weight since they will be much taller than the afterbangs

And domains are heavy and stiff. Butterzones(rocker) are so far out that you will headbutt the snow if you going to do a butter. Handflexing will show how soft tips and tails are but not underfoot.

No they don't. That would mean that the 189 Hellbents would actually be something like 400 cm.

Effective edge vs. actual ski length makes a HUGE difference. I have a 172 cm pair of skis. They're not rockered and the effective edge is around 150 cm. K2 skis are only a couple (like 1-4, depending on the model) cm longer than what they say.
 
184 line chronic or the 186 on3p filty rich Which should measures longer by effective edge and true length?
