well then say they do buy this years skis. then next year they aren't going to have as many skis, and they are going to have leftover skis next year.
 
i know i want to see the pictures. i could post the new chronics and invaders but... nahhh... i'm not feeling rebelish today.
 
"They" wouldn't actually because "they" are already selling out the last few skis "they" have on closeout. The truth is that it isn't Line at all that this non-pic-posting edict is protecting, it's their dealers.

I work for one of those dealers and therefore it would be fairly counterintuitive for me to outcompet myself by overly promoting a product I don't have at the expense of the product I do.

While yes I'm stoked on next years stuff, CUZ IT'S SICK, the point is that since line shipped late this season theres a lot of their stuff still in stores right now so instead of early releases they're stalling to help us all sell their stuff. And here I almost ruined it out of shear excitement over HOW SICK NEXT YEARS STUFF LOOKS THIS IS THE BIGGEST TEASER THREAD EVER HAHAHAHA!!!!!
 
you see shops buy next years shipments based on how many skis they sell this year to an extent. so if some buttfuck wannabe newschoolers equipment quru goes and posts next years shit, every one will be so blown away they wont buy this years stuff. So that means, come summer time, all your precious little line dealers have a fuck load of product leftover and think that there isnt much of a demand for line anymore. They take that into account and order way the fuck less the next year. Who does that hurt. You and Me and Line. There would be a lot less places to buy line for us. and Line would not make much money.

Which was why this thread wasn't made three fucking weeks ago when some of us saw the graphics and specs. I guess someone just decided he wanted to look all "in the know" and important on the internet. Good to know we have someone to call for that.
 
don't dis on taylor (skimasterflex)...he's just putting some stoke back into line (and they need it right now)...truth be told, they are still a sick ski co. and everyone should buy their stuff. i've rode my centermounted moships like 3 times and they are unbelievable. just get stoked on line again and you'll be aight.

In all reality I was just throwing the name out there cuz it's so tight and nobody was talking about it yet.

Sure I thought it would be cool to get the stoke ball rolling early. Look at my posts a year ago at this time they're the same kind of thing, stoking up Line skis cuz they're great.

I also think it's funny to hear kids squirm about next years graphics and how they really want to see them. There wasn't any hype like that in our industry until really recently and it's pretty cool.

PS watch the movie "Elizabeth" and Francis will all make sense.
 
i happend to be shred jay peak today and saw/said whats up to eric pollard and j. lev and all next years skis are so sick dont buy any of the left overs of this years bullshit from other companys. the line sir francis bacons are fat skis and they are a bright green color but all next years skis have amazing graphics atleast thats my opinion. i definately plan on getting a new pair of lines next season.
 
ahaha, oh dear no one will buy invaders and have to warranty them in two days, calskierX will actually be helping line by saving them from warrantying their entire model line.
 
One this I hate about NS are the people who have seen the shit and come on here saying how sick everything is, "BESTZ SHITZ of the YEAR MAAAAN!"

Fuck off. If you have seen them you are lucky, dont going bragging about it and hang that infront of us because it just futhers you as a douchbag on NS.
 
the new skis are siick. got to demo all of next years skis yesterday with xtakewarninx , leventhal and pollard.

i really like what they did with the graphics on the new prophet series, and the Sir Francis Bacons are dope. the anthems are so stable too definitely like them better than the invaders

personally think they are ugly, they are like all scribbles. they have these goblin looking things on them, they are this white and light green and gray. not very attractive at all. the anthems are way cooler
 
i dont know if theres ne of the new ones in this pic but its off the line site. and as one guy described i think the new invaders are i there(he said white green and grey or somtin)

Word, same thing with last years Armadas, namely the ar5's. So many were left over and put on backorder they had so many to sell on sale over the summer.

If everyone saw the ar5 pictures in January they wouldn't keep buying the current season ar5's and just wait a few months.

The Bacon's look sick and will be sick...just wait.
 
why does everyone care so much about seeing pictures of them? you can't buy them till next ear anyway.

kus i want to know wat im gunna buy. kus i dont want to use money on a ski that i kinda like now when i could find a ski that i realy like and i can still use the ones i have now and tehn get it next year
 
Its not just about graphics, the skis are built differently and if you want a ski thats not going to fall apart and has different dimensions and build then booyashaka il get some pictures for you. Why would you buy shitty skis this year when im sure they fix them up and you can get good ones next year, kinda gay for line to not admit they fucked up .
 
^did you ski the new 90mm mold skis? I'm interested in them in particular because they're replacing Lines most successful mold, the mothership mold.

I think it's rad they made some new molds but I hope that it isn't too big a stretch to have the prophet 90 the chornic blend and the celeb all the same shape.
 
the last pair i was on were the original elizibeth. im thinking i want the pink elizibeths next year, fuck i dont know. Il just have 2 powder skis and my Jp's will be big mountain cliffs and shit and my elizibeths will be for the trees.
 
i can get a pic of the next years chick skis from ashley. she has the pic on that myspace thing so i dont think they care 2 much. if ne1 is interested i will get those pics up.
