Line sir francis bacon or k2 kung fujas

I am stuck between the sfb and kung fujas. I skiat jay peak and want a stable ski that will handle around 1ft of pow, pumps, trees, and the ocassional groomer.Which of theese is right for me. I was thinking 179 forthe fujas and 184 for the bacons. I am 5 11 and weigh 150. I ski at moderate to fast speed but dont charge unless conditions call for it. I want the skito turn fast but be stable and poppy edge to edge. Which ski is better for me?

I haven't skied the sfb but I love my kung fujas. Do well on groomers, and tear through ~3-5 inches of fresh. The only time I've skied them in more than that was around 12" and really heavy, and with a little bit of speed I was really surprised by how well they did. They do alright on ice, my guess is a little better than the sfb, but obviously a narrower ski would be preferable.

For length, I'm 6'2" 165 lbs and I felt like the 189 would be a little too much ski so I went with the 179. Works great except for when I'm going really fast, but with your size they'd be perfect.

I ride the SFB and can say that almost all of this applies to them as well. I had a couple chances to try a pal's fujas and they ski very similarly. I found the Fujas to float just a tad better than the sfb, but I think the bacon is just a tad more playful. For reference I am 6'2", 180lbs. My Bacons are mounted dead center and are 184's. The Fujas were (i think) the 179 mounted around -2. Dimension wise they are pretty close in shape, my bacons feel almost exactly the same swith as they do forward.

So it sounds like you'll be happy with either...just look for whatever you can get the best deal on!

Very happy with either. I also forgot to mention that while I love my Bacons, they have a wee bit of delam beginning in one of the tails. Going to see if I can get them riveted to last another season.
