Line Sakana vs Blend

I got a pair of chronic 95s and was just not a fan of how stiff they are. Wanted something for spring that would be fun. I am a SFB fan which is my all mountain ski and the outline is my powder ski. Just trying to figure out if i’d rather have the blend or the sakana. I ski a lot of park in the spring but more surfy and less sendy. And i’ll hit a rail but i’m getting too old for that. I love buttery skis that allow me to “surf” and slash the mountain regardless of where I end up on it. I love side hits and slashes.

Help!

Blend is cool for riding from rail to rail, it sucks for "real" skiing like carving etc. Sakana is hella fun for carving and slashing, but as it is superlight, it wont be too stable in the heavy spring snow. Also Sakana does not feel like a ski that can survive any rail skiing even though line team guys do it

Fully detuned (tip to tail) Vishnu Key. We gotta stop buying Lines until they get their act together and stop releasing disposable skis.

FWIW, I'm on the new Chronic 95s and also found them stiff my first two days out. But the skis broke in really nicely and now they feel softer than I ever anticipated.

Did you center mount? I did recommended and am wondering if that has anything to do with it.

Nah I did recommended. I'm also used to on3ps and other stiff skis so maybe it's just relative?
