i was gonna get sdome line skis this year, but i heard that you can only use line bindings with them...

so are the line bindings good? cause 200$ is pretty expensive...

haha u dont have to..but id reccomend it! they work great with line skis, its worth the cost of it man! saves your knee and holds you in great!

you dont have to use line bindings for them and line reactors have had some badd reviews i hae never used them myself but my friend broke 2 pairs in one season

yea if ur not using reactors youll have to drill ur own holes or have a shop do it, alot of skis are this way, they only fit the company bindings, reactors aer sweet though

you dont have to use line bindings with line skis. they are a great binding so i would. plus if you get line skis again next year you dont have to get new bindings because you can just switch them over. its a win win situation.

good for your friend, i never broke a pair, the pair probably broke cuz he was tampering with them, or the shop didnt set them up right....id still rather break a binding than my knee

Once i saw line bindings LITERALLY fall apart on the first turn on them. then the ski went 2o or 3o feet into the woods. that is my experience with them they are nothing but trub in my eyes. they could be good though it just depends who knows im not talking poop on them or anything just personal exp.

im curious i do want to try them and put them on one of the titanium carvng skis to see how they handle throwing down a mach carve....scare me in the park tho

remember line did put them thru r and d, so stories like fallin apart on the first turn are hard to believe, no offense. ive never ridden them but i ordered a pair for my invaders this yr, ihope they hope up, last yr i was on tyrolias and whenever i landed switch my right brake would catch, rip my ski off, and bend like hell, needless to say it was quite annoying, but taught me to land switch at a perfect angle as not to fuck up my skeez.

actually dude although the problem has been totally blown out of proportion by shit-talkers on this site. My 1st pair broke in the first hour I used them, and yes they were totally set up properly, and no I hadn't fucked around with them...toe piece cracked and was just hanging on to the binding. Luckily Line UK is amazing and within 3 days I had a new pair on my pollards. I've ridden the shit out of those and they still work great. You couldn't pay me to change them.

Anyone who complains about the extra weight is a pussy: the only time you notice that is when you're carrying them.

You hear this a lot. Line bindings won't be around in a couple of years because everyone says to wait a few years. I for one will support the quickmount system. Do they have some problems? Yes. Do I have a back up pair of sticks with different bindings ? Yes. Will I break another pair? Probably. I have lots of skis so I can afford to support the binding. The reactor may not be for everyone but it suits me fine.

I watched the Reactors give my friend endless trouble on his vacation out here in Utah. They were new, mounted on Line skis. They were constantly pre-releasing on him no matter the DIN setting, and then little parts broke off. He had to spend all day going from shop to shop because no one would work on them. There's a cult called Exploding Reactors on here I think... Like someone else said, buy them if you have $350 to spend on bindings that you know have serious problems... These things have given so many people trouble, and still everybody feels the need to defend them because Line "put so much into it". No one else is going to adapt this four screw platform, it's heavy as hell and just doesn't make much sense. The ACL saving stuff is great as long as you don't have a broken skull from pre-releasing headfirst into a tree.

i just got my reactors and put them on my mike nicks, a fully brand new set up this year i am so happy. they better not be how everybody is saying they are. I am gonna be pissed if they are. but they should be good. they save money from getting them mounted at a shop. and it only took about 5 mins.

Well your shop obviously doesn't know how to set them correctly... especially if you broke EVERY pair. haha.. that is so so rediculous.

i have heard many mixed reviews about the bindings and from what it seems is the people who break them are the ones who set them up themselvs. i orderd a pair for my invaders and im gonna let a shop set them up

I'm a little nervous about having my local shop set up my reactors, cause as of last spring they didn't sell 1 single pair of reactors, but hopefully they will set them up properly.

Of the poeple who broke their reactors, which did you have? 10 or 12 Perhaps there is a correlation with broken bindings and which model they were?

ok..even if they were to break on you, LINE has the best warranty out there... A NO QUESTIONS ASKED WARRANTY. thats on skis and bindings. How could you be unhappy with that? Line bindings are the shit. I would never go back to LOOKS and their skis are pimp as hell too.
