you dont have to, but i think i may buy them for my invaders, but i already have p10s so i dunno yet, im hearing bad stuff about the reactors, like people shattering the toe peice
i had the reactors last season on my chronics last season (before they got STOLEN!! BASTARD......anyway) and OMG did they SUCK. They weighed so much. i dont know if they cut down on the weight this season or not, but if they are anything like last season i would stay away from them. I replaced the Reactors with 912tis. They're amazing.
yeah, i dont know how many threads i have responded to about the reacters, but DO NOT BUY THE BINDING, its a good idea, but they havent worked out all the problems, i,e, the weight, breakage of the toepiece, and bindings twisting off the ski.
Listen u 2 fucks above me ^ ^^. Weight is not a factor, when it underfoot. Maybe you are to weak to carry them in the parking lot and that were the weight sucks. But the bindings dont suck because of weight, because you dont notice the weight when your are actually skiing.
Oki bought them last year and yes they are heavy but if you have any leg strength you can handel them. As long as you get them set up by a pro you will be fine, anyways line will replace any broken bindings under warrenty.
The weight is not an issue when you're on the mountain. In the parking lot maybe, but only if you're not very strong.
As for breaking them, I rode mine over 40 days last year, all over the mountain and very hard. They also made it through airline baggage handlers a few times and they are still working just fine. 99% of the broken ones were most likely people messing with them that didn't know how to set them.
Jibij had them up at their camp in May and people were riding them HARD on rails and stuff and not one of them broke. There's no problem with the bindings.
