are there new ones coming out next year, with improved stuff, because i dont trust new technology
 
yep ive heard they stopped making them the shops are just selling what evers left and that will be the end of it.
 
thats really sad. the pivogy system is a really good idea i just think they should improve on what they have. maybe use some different materials so all the pussies can stop whining about the wieght issue. and use a stronger material so that theres no plastic cracking or whatever
 
Its a great idea and could be great with some more R & D. I think a big company like salomon could have easily done this years ago but dont want people to be able to buy one binding.
 
exactly dude! thats how you can tell which company is a "CORE" company and is in it for the progression of the twin tip movement.
 
yeh maybe in the furture jason said that if more peopleare going to support the ide athan they are going to follow through with ti more, but it needs peoples support
 
I think it would be cool if salomon and look teamed up with line and all the freestyle skis/bindings would have the quickmount system on them.
 
So did they already stop production on them? If they did, does anyone want to speculate on what would happen if in two years I needed to warranty my bindings and line didn't have any to give me? Just a curious guy I am.
 
god why do you morons always rip on salomon for not being "core"? them, along with k2, pretty much pioneered that whole twin tip thing. salomon dumps way more money back into the industry than most of you realize. they sponsor tons of movies, tons of comps, and tons of riders, and they make a sick ski too. line's idea is excellent, but it had issues. the binding was definately not perfect, but its on the right track for sure.
 
i ski madtrix and i tried this kids motherships with reactors..i had no problem at all and the weight didnt really seem to affect at all
 
Ski the same ski with and without the reactor and then get back to me on this one. I did it last year on three different line skis and it was like night and day on every one of them. Even going from Reactor 12s to S914s on my 182 mothership ti's made the ski twice as quick and manuverable and the 14 din Salomons aren't particualrly light themselves. Reactor simply weighs 2-3 pounds more than everthing else out there and it kills the way all skis ski.
 
I didnt say anything about comparing them to other bindngs. Of course they are heavier than alot of other bindings out there. I was just stating that once you ski them for a while you dont even notice the wieght difference.
 
i think it is a good idea, but it would have been better had other brand caught on to, seems like no1 else thought it would be a good money making concept.
 
yeah its definately a really cool idea, but the Line binding just really didnt cut it. its not even the weight that was the huge deterrent, it was the fact that they were so unreliable, and the customer service was terrible. at least this was my experience, and i know im not alone. if your going to come out and revolutionize an industry, youve got to be able to push the big companies by scaring them into action. if your product breaks every other day your kinda stuck.
 
Sort of. JL does get credit for making the first twin tipped ski, but the Teneighty was the first one to be mass produced and catch on with the public. It's like, Henry Ford didn't invent the car, he just invented the automobile industry.
 
so what about us people who got sold into buying this binding system? if they are done, what are the rest of us supposed to do? if mine break am i fucked? what a loss of 300 dollars if they truely are done w/ them
 
dont forget about Rossi's Ross E. Knoll fat twins...i fucked myself up on those many times way way way way back.
 
i emailed jason l. and he personally told me that Line would continue making Reactors in the future.
 
Line dropped almost their entire team, can't afford to fix their flawed bindings, and are having lots of durability issues with the Invaders -- signs of big trouble?
