So what's the verdict?!?!!?!?!

Can you mount them more foward on a pair of line skis if you want that position?

How high are they off the ski?

Do you still have control over the ski the same as you would a mounted pair?

DO THEY WORK!?

yes. i have a pair, been riding them for 2 seasons. they rock.

on mine, there are little tabs that you can pull out that let you move the toe/heelpieces. you can move your setup forward/backward, or change the size so someone else's boots 'll fit.

i ride hard, they still work. i'm happy.

oh, and you still have really good control over the ski........ some people say that the binding rotates (a part does, i'll get to it in a min.), but they also haven't ridden them. they're just like any other pair of bindings....... the plate does not rotate because of the 4 hole mount.

what does rotate is the toe/heelpiece in a fall. it actually helps eject you if you torque it in a fall. but it doesn't just stupidly eject you. if you just move take the binding and move the toe, you can see the heelpiece rotate, and viceversa.

they're good bindings!

i was checkin em out a week or two ago, seem pretty dope, not the lightest, but they weigh the same as a look/rossi binding, so that's pretty illin

Thanks for the info!

I believe that they're safe...line's team wouldn't be riding them if they weren't, because I'm assuming line does not want their team to get broke up.

Anyways, I'm just looking for more how they ski.

meh, they put you up a smidge higher than most other bindings........ it doesn't really affect me at all, and i personally think it helps me get more onto my edges when i'm skiing the groomed/ice/general east coast stuff.

it's about as much of a lift that any binding with a plate will give you....

i like it. sure the binding's aren't the lightest, but then again, all that weight is right under your foot....... so it doesn't really affect anything.

any more questions, just let me know...... i've been on em for 2 full seasons now.........

not many people can say that!

Here is the story.

Yes, they did recall them two years ago. It wasn't Line's fault. Their Chinese manufacturing firm was hit hard due to SARS. The binding is sick this year. I spent the summer working in the Line office and saw many people (incl. Dan G mentioned above) very HARD at work on the binding. They took the extra time to make a binding that rocks.

Support a company that cares about us. Go out and get their bindings. The best part of it is -> one pair of bindings can be used on many different pairs of skis. What a concept!

I've been doing a lot of promo work w/ the Line guys in Tahoe. Their binding is their baby right now. Line has sunk more than seven digits (he wouldn't elaborate exactly how much) into that binding. Jason and the rest of the guys will barely break even in the next couple of years because of the amount of money spent on the binding. It's heavy because light-weight material costs money, which they have little of right now. I trust it. It just has the best release system for a backwards-twisting fall, therefore saving our precious ACLs. Their commitment to the binding speaks for their commitment to skiing and making a great product for their customers. That's a dying concept in the industry right now...

^ EXACTLY. they weren't recalled. they just didn't have half the materials they needed to make the bindings.

and idk how far in MM you can move em..... but it's enought to make a difference on mine. cappy, just go find a place that carrys them, and take a look!

ya we just got them in the shop i work at, they look good, and they aren't to heavy, the only thing was they give you quite a bit of rise off your ski, but whatever, i have yet to try the new ones, so i'm excited

GO FLAMES!!

i got to ride them since they first had the concept 3 years ago and last year in my opinion which is this years binding is that they are 1 year away from a binding i would ride and recomend to a customer.

They def have the concept and it keeps getting better every year but i think they are still on season away from having a binding not just a park binding.
