i bought a brand new pair of 03- 04 line 1260s from evogear on ebay and one ski has the pre drilled holes with the rivets for the line binding but the other ski doesnt, it never said this on the web page and i was wondering if theres a way to get the rivets installed on the other ski

thats f-d up, Id return em unless it said that in the description and you still bought em. in that case, your screwed. Or you can just not use the reactors.

Unless you have many huge industrial machines , your SOL. Just don' use the reactors.

Matman10: Man lat you had that 7 down but you binder poped off

Laterails:Yeah i think they aren't adjusted, or it could be the fact that all that is holding them together is one of my pubes

according to my moms boyfriend whos a contractor you can buy the inserts at the home depot and just drill 4 holes and screw them in

Just ski.

dont try to put those rivets in your self the ones that come with the skis have a washer like thing anchors them down and prevents them from ripping out. i bought the same 12s from evogear and mine are fine. make evogear fix there fuck up or try sending them to line

LINE kicks ass

plus contractors know nothing about how skis work, so dont listen to them

yeah, putting your own inserts in won't work. they'll rip out.

line builds the inserts into the core, instead of drilling them in after......... so you're fucked if you can't get it warrantyed/problem resolved.

DO NOT try to make your own inserts. either call evogear and tell them to give you a different ski so both have holes or call line and see if they'll help you out. last resort, just use binders other than reaactors.

dont worry i wasnt planning on putting in the rivets myself, i just thought that maybe one option was to get a shop to install them

A lot of times with the older line skis, the inserts are in the ski under the topsheet but haven't been drilled. Before the reactors were out, I think you had the option of ordering inserted or non inserted skis.

A friend of mine has Skogens from 03-04 and you can definitely see the inserts in there even though they aren't drilled.

If evogear won't help you out, check your skis and see if you can find the inserts. If they are there call line and see if they can help you by drilling them for you.

as a last resort you could always learn how to ski on just one ski,

or use ducttape

look at the serial number on your skis, if they do not match you need to call whoever sold them to you and get the matching pair...
