So I need some new twins cuz my beloved dynostar concepts are about dead and i was wondering your guys opinion on the Line Prophet 80s

I found a good deal on them but I havent demod them How are they as far as all mountain performance?

they are built for all mountain. their not a park ski. they for riding groomed and all mountain features

I know they are built as an all mountain ski I jsut wanted to know if they really perform up to shnuff as an all mountian ski. Basically I want a good ski for groomers and choppy midwest hills with the convenience of a twin tip for riding in the park.

Here is lines description of the 06/07 ones.

The Prophet 80 maintains the spirit of the Prophet family in an 80mm waist width, making it the most versatile ALL-MOUNTAIN freeride ski LINE have ever created. The heart of its power results from its state of the art Metal Matrix technology modified to actually wrap over the top of the core, extending down the walls to the edges of the ski underfoot.

The result is edge-grip, power and responsiveness that will make ice feel like groomed slopes and cut through the tightest lines in the bumps like a walk through the park.

The freeride-specific flex and geometry work together for effortless turn initiation, strong fall line directional handling and powerful acceleration out of your turns on all terrain and conditions.

Its unique Directional Twin tail maximizes edge length in contact with the snow for added stability with plenty of fakie ability whenever you feel the urge.

Skiing just feels better when everything’s a blur.

i go more towards the chronics. i was looking at the prophet 80's in my shop and where they are ment to be mounted is way too far back. (i think)

The thing is im used to my dynastars which had the mounting far back and had little tail, so that not a problem. I just want to know if they are gunna handle like the 1260's in which case im not intrested in them.

Does anyone have any good independent reviews of them? Or know some good review sites?

a kick ass all mtn ski with a twin for park that would own the widwest would of course be HEAD Mojo 80s...buy em love em ski em.
