Line or Surface?

I'm looking for some new skis this year and I am mainly stuck between line and surface. which one is better/more durable for park. And then which model would be the best? Anything will help :)

(If there are any other brands outside of these two that you would recommend please share also.)

I have the Line Afterbangs and they are amazing! If you want a great pair of skis I would strongly suggest these.

I like what surface does, and I hear their pow skis are great, but I haven't heard great things about their park skis durability. I'd suggest Line.

I'm fairly convinced it's impossible to break a pair of Afterbangs. They're kinda' strapping bomb shelters to your feet. They even weigh the same.

big props from me for the durability of chronics / afterbangs / anthems.

Surface makes bombproof pow and bc gear. I do not put much stock in any of their rockered park stuff. The double times and these skis are fine though. Big thing is pretty much every ski they make is damn stiff.

Skateboard construction is only a gimmick. The only thing it does is make a ski unecessarily heavy. And afterbangs arent as "indestructable" as MANY people think. Ive seen a lot of broken. Granted there are definitely a lot of people riding them.

I have a pair of the surface double times. I would tell anybody to go surface. Yes they have had problems in the past and yes they havent been around all long as line. But if your looking for a fairly stiff ski that is still playful. The double times are it. light weight, rockered park ski with nice camber. They make bomb ass pow skis abd some insane park skis. if you have any other questions pm me man

I watched my friend ski his for half a season here on the east coast. they worked pretty well until january at the dew tour when he tried to hit a wooden rail (the stash at killington) and chipped the tip of his ski causing an edge to pull out. a bunch of epoxy and duct tape later, they were skiable...ish. he said he liked them alright, they were pretty fun, but yes they are heavy and certainly aren't indestructable.

just my friends experience, might not be yours
