Line opinions please

I need some honest reviews/opinions of the 2004 Line Darksides, Mavericks and 1260's please. Your help is greatly appreciated... I checked the review section already and came up with some stuff but I kinda discredited the reviews a tad. Cheers.

Basicly:

Darksides - all mountin carving ski, good on the groomers, not a very high tail in the back if you do alot of park...i wouldn;t go there

Mavericks- kind like a more twin version of the darkside i guess i could say, stiffer flex, good all around ski, still not the highest tail. i would take them over the darksides for park. oh and i hate the graphics...lol

1260- softer flex, lots of pop, has the ollie band.. 2004 model should i think. a really fun ski. If your worried about the 1260 being to saoft for all mountain just go a bit longer, it'sa fairly light ski too. i would pick it over the others. espically for park.

I have 03 mavericks, and as far as I know the only difference between those and the 04s is the holes pre drilled for the line bindings. They are sorta all mountain, but really a good bump ski. The ride so-so in the park, pretty good on groomers (if you have edges), and meh in powder.

Without skiing we are just monkeys with car keys.
 
Which year has the predrilled holes? And does that mean I can only use Line bindings on em?

Just curious about those 3 skis, read some funky stuff on em.

I did not think the 1260 had the Ollie Band. I am not sure what year they started with the pre-drilled holes, but you can definately mount a diiferent brand binding.

last years 1260 definately had the ollie band, but this years dont

yea i think they started putting in the pre-drills like '03 i think? but yea you can deff. mount another bingind ont it. just have the shop mount it around the pre drills. (unless you're doing it yourself, then same deal)

 
Ya, they didn't even sell the binding when I baught the skis, I use some POS Rossi Axiums.

Without skiing we are just monkeys with car keys.
 
the line binding will explode on you. i love my chronics, solid skis. my friend who had last years 1260 cracked the edges a lot, like 20 cracks between the two skis. go with a ski with the fatty edges and base, adn you will not crack edges

go with 1260s i have a pair and they are so sick they are are great in the park and are very easy to do spins on becuz of the design, sick ass ski

 
Hey I got a pair last year and this year I put the new Line bindings on them and they rock. the 1260s are amazing they're the best choice of the three.

 
Is the 1260 good all over the hill? If I pick up a pair I'll probably only use it in the park but may use it on some groomers but little elsewhere.

the 1260s are good all over the hill. there has been only one problem with them taht i found and thats they chatter to much at high speeds.
