Line needs more respect

word man sick shit u wrote

people need to be looking up to LINE rather then down on them.

line deserves more credit having way more ideas and innovations on their belt then any other company...progression is what we all care about, and its LINE whos providing it

jea

Honestly....all this hate with Line is BS. I bought my prophets this year, and they ARE the king of the twin tip backcountry skiing. The flex, camber, sidecut, turning radius, its great.

My buddy has some invaders, they are not as bad as most people say that are. I think that is just a few cases of NS bullshit, where there is one case then 50 other kids blow it out of the water. They didn't delam, the edges didn't break, the ski held up IN EVERYTHING. Ice,bumps, grommers, jumps, rails, pipe, everything. They have the line binding on it. the only thing that sucked about that was it was a little on the heavy side, and landings were cock hard on them. But i had alot more confidence on them then my Rossi Race 120s. -They pre-released 6 times during the season just by jumping on a few rails. That Pivoting look/rossi binding is not god like everybody says it is. I felt much more confiendent that the Line binding was going to hold me in alot more then the pivot rossi/look. They saved my buddy a good many time.

Line was sold by K2 because WE didn't support it. Everybody says line sold out, but its our own god damn faults. You wanted like to be independant, and not be run by coporate asses, well up to you guys to represent when you had to......but most of you didn't. Im still going to buy line stuff because their skis are still sick, and they still have great ideas as a company.

ive always loved lines. i bought a used pair of mavericks over the internet a couple years ago and they still work great. the only other company i would buy from is rossi or K2

ya all these people saying line stuff sucks are for the most part wrong. They don't really have any more problems than other companys, it was just the invaders last year having the delam problem. Ya the bindings wheren't all that great but to be honest I have yet to own a pair of bindings I didn't despise. There's always problems with bindings and when a tiny company like Line try's to make them it's pretty hard to get right. They had a great idea with it but nobody wanted to support them

I love my lines. I have a pair of the 04-05 mike nicks, they are bomb proof. By far the toughest skis i've ridden. I have the reactors on them and I wouldn't switch to another binding. I had more problems with my old salomon bindings than my line bindings. My only complaint is they are on the heavy side, but once you're strapped in you don't nottice it.

they need to learn how to ship thier skis on time!!!!!!!!!!

2 years in a row there is no excuse. I will not buy Line again!!!!

idk if you were generally talking towards skis with wood core, but line uses foam in their skiboards.

so i was working at a big ski sale/swap today and I saw some Line transfer boots. i cant believe i forgot them in the original post, but once again, a first from line.

i didn't really read all the replies but yeah you can respect them for trying but if there shit is not performing well, why buy it?

Well, what exactly do you consider the start? You see, the thing about LINE that has earned them the respect they deserve is that they were around before there was even really a comparison as to what twin tip should be like. They pioneered and continue to do so. So when you say from the start, I think you are referring to your start, not theirs.

I can tell anyone this - if Line were to go down, it would be like the demise of Freeze all over again, only 10 times worse and it would be all on the shoulders of a bunch of ingrateful kids that fail to recognize even the history of what we now call our sport, short as it may be.

I remember when i got my first pair of 1260's, they were the blue ones with the 70's look, i couldnt find one problem with them, i sold them and bought a pair of motherships, they were the best ski i have ever skied on. now this year, i have the anthems.

I love line and how they are focusing on the backcountry and big mountain scene. Props to Line

my prophets are downright bombproof. run over the biggest, pointiest rocks you can find and nothing will happen. they also survived an avalanche completely unscathed. they popped off the roof rack, and while the car was completely mangled, i found one prophet in a tree, and the other in the debris 3 weeks later with nothing more than a little surface rust. boo ya

I ride 1260's and I don't have them with me right now (they're in the shop having bindings mounted) but I'm pretty sure they're symmetrical.

props very very well written, love line sick company awesome skis im ridden chronic minis currently.

RIDE LINE BITCHES!!!!!!
