First off, who are you to tell anyone when you have no idea what the situation is? the skis were dropped off for me to pick up. which i did not know i was supposed to pick up in the first place. the next morning i went to where they were dropped off and nothing was found. i made a police report and all. so when you boldly talk out of place like that, make sure you are calling out the right person for a good reason.

Yeah it sucks to have your skis stolen but it also goes to show you that people are jerks and assholes. Lock you stuff up because there is always someone out there who wants it and has no qualms about just taking anything that is lieing around.

kill the delivery guy, don't drop off brand new skis when everyone is inside drinking. Even someone who doesn't normally steal would steal em if they are drunk.

Still if they ride them they will run into a tree and if they sell them they will die in a car crash or better yet become a vegetable so someone has to feed you just because you are a thief.

Skiers don't steal it is bad.

Ebay is the best bet

Call vail and ask for a freeride-employee someone who knows what they are looking for and cares. A newschooler would spot them before any patroller or cop would so tell line to keep calling vail.

 
the fact remains craig that the skis were not locked up regardless of who's responsible for leaving them unlocked. there should have been better organization. who just leaves a pair of brand new unreleased skis like that on a rack for somebody else to pick up, when the person whoes supposed to pick them up(you) wasn't even notified? i stand by my convictions. it was irresponsibilty by both parties, plain and simple.

dude thats not the point, you dont steal fucking skis.... and you werent there, you have no idea, there were hundreds of twins left all around Golden Peak at the Open, lots that were next years, not locked up and this was the only problem. it sucks that people have to cough up $$$ because a few faggots steal skis. I know what they look like coker, if i see them i will get them back for ya....

man its sickening all you guys are like, 'hey man people shouldnt steal skis what bastards.' we dont live in a perfect world. there are people out there that have no sympathy for you or your belongings and wont think twice about swiping your skis right off the rack no matter what the situation is. that's a FACT. so get over it, stop with your idealistic views, buy a lock, and use it!. they are dirt cheap, easy to carry around, and fast and easy to use. there's no excuses for not having one.

that is the LAST place they should have been stolen, that is all there is to say hopefully they were drunk when it happened and now that they are sober they will apologize and return them.
