Line Mordecai 186cm vs Moment Wildcat 184

Hey guys, Im 6ft 150lbs and have been mainly skiing on the Line vision 108 189cm the past year. I like the shape of the ski but i want some more resort oriented that will be a bit more stable in chop n crud. The snow is pretty soft in BC where I am and i can get some mordecais with griffons for 500$ or Wildcats with griffons for 900$ is the mordecai gonna be more damp then the vision?? Or should i pony up and get the Moment wildcats?? Im not a super heavy dude nor am i smashing big mountain lines, mainly tight tree skiing, cliffs, pillow lines etc.

Hey! I am 6'2 170lb and I am super down with my Mordecai's - they are quite stable in chop and crud. They weigh more than the vision, which is a huge factor in crud performance. $500 is a steal as well. They float and are super playful!

Thanks, I found them slightly used online an now he's gonna sell them to me for 450$ with new griffons what a steal! Im sure it will be a good playful ski. Im sure it skis somewhat similar to the vision, where do you have them mounted?I used to own 190cm bacons and they were mounted -2cm but they felt like too much tail in the steep tight trees

I have mine mounted recommended! Which skis great. I think it is -2cm for Erics choice.

And I think the mordecai being 186 vs your bacons being 190, that will help your control in the trees.

the griffons are enough for most guys.

Of course if your on FWT and more than 6 feet, and or killing ON3P, yeah you might need soimething else.

Support moment they make killer skis and are great dudes. Pass on ant marker binding they are all trash. Pick up some attack 13s instead or pivot 15s

Moment makes great skis and I might be biased but I think that Line does too.

In my opinion, The Mordecai will serve you better if you ski in a more centered stance and like to pivot whereas the Wildcat will serve you better for higher speed charging on your edges. The Mordecais like to swivel and smash!

Regardless what you choose, the weight increase alone on both of these skis will make them feel more damp in chunder compared to the Visions .THC can only mellow out so many bad vibrations haha.

Either way, you'll be happy. Thanks for supporting Line and the brands that care about our sport.

Picked up the Mordecai's for 450$ with a griffon and they were barely used! Hiked up for some preseason laps and was pretty happy with how they skied. Nice and damp on the refrozen chunder and pretty buttery and fun in the fresh snow up top! I think they will complement my Visions real nice for a playful in resort ski, usually if im riding big lines its in the backcountry anyway and the visions in the 189cm are pretty stable in the fresh stuff. Once these wear out ill be buying some Season Eqmt.'s Gotta support EP.

I also just spent the extra cash i would have used on the moments for a demo pair of Line Pescado's now i really have a dope quiver. also tested the mordecais on some jibs the other day they did fine for ski that wide!

Line vision 108 189cm w shift bindings

Line Mordecai 186 w griffons

Line Pescado 180cm w griffons
