masterminds does anyone know how durable they are cause they look good and buttery and good on jumps and light but just want to know how durable they are before i break 475 on them and new bindings bumps=+k

People won't back me up on this but they are pretty good, average durability. They will take you through at least a season. Plus they're cheap, if they fit your specs I'd get 'em.

the mastermind are more beginner but thats bs i'd go with them if they fit you and they are way cheaper than punks

I mean it's a different ski. Punx is a much more well made, better ski. But it's more expensive. The biggest pro of the mastermind is that its inexpensive, and honestly if it's serving as a park ski and you're giong to beat the shit out of it anyway, why go broke on it. I think the price point ski is a good idea, but if you want higher quality, definitely punx.

thats what i was tryin to think of because im not begginer but im not pro and love line but dont want the chronics of stepups cause the cost to much

this is my third season on my masterminds and i dont plan on getting new skis too soon. they have held up great and are very light and buttery. thmbs up from me

masterminds, so fun.

i had them , super light, butterey, really fun, you could stomp anything, but the bases suck, after 5 days with no wax i couldnt clear a 25 foot table from straightlining it in. so i sold them. ahah sick ski just need to be waxed alot.

yeah op keep in mind that they have an extruded base, which won't hold wax and is slow as hell. If you ride in a park where speed can be an issue, don't buy them. However if you ride somewhere where you can always get plenty of speed, go for it.

I used to have line invaders, which use the same type of base, and i had some of the worst knucklings of my life. Some days i just couldn't clear big jumps.

when i saw the masterminds i thought they looked just like the old invaders. which were super fun and poppy. but when it comes to line i like the chronics the most.

And here is where I realize why I injured myself knuckling 3 times in 2 seasons.

But don't let this keep you from buying the skis. Waxing is an easy fix, one I wish i used.
