Line Invaders

Kid brought some into the shop today. Has the 4-hole pattern for the Line binding.

Here's my question, he wants to mount Salomon 912's on it. Safe to drill through that plate or does that ski only take a Line binding?

i'm pretty sure you can use any bindings you want to, i'm thinking about switching to, i skied on my old skis a few days ago w/ out line bindings, and it reminded me wat FREE riding was

and the plate or area of the ski, is called the butterzone, which is where the flexs most in tip and tail...it wont affect that, the only drawback to an "un line binding" is the fact that you dont have full flex of the ski, as you would w/ a line binding

line bindings are truely heavier, i skied my fujatives a few days ago, rather than my invaders, and it was like not even skiing, i felt skiless

you can put on any binding on that ski, my buddy put his new look bindings on it and its fine

yeah you can put any binding on them, those 4 holes are stainless steel so they won't rust or anything. just make sure you center mount them because it's a completely even ski, it'll mess it up and it will be off the drill pad or whatever. i put the p10's on mine.

is it trrue that the invaders dont keep up very well

iv heard stories...they scared me i had bad dreams for days
