Line Invaders????

around 299 next year, flex zones like fujatives, centermounted usually, sysmetrical tip and tail, crazy graphics, they are basically a slightly lighter and tiny bit more flexible ski than the fujative. they were fun, i would buy them for rails and small to medium jumps (20-45ftrs)

when i skied them they were a lot of fun to butter around on smaller jumps and rails, the flex allows you to butter a lot more with out getting shin bang

You really think that they wouldn't be so great on the bigger jumps? (45+) I'm kind of looking at getting a pair, but if they aren't going to handle going bigger than that, I don't know......................

Guys,

The invaders are the most advanced freestyle ski ever created, we designed them from the ground up based on everything we've learned over the past ten years. These are NOT slow skiing only, small jump hitting only, too soft to go big skis.

Features no other freestyle ski in the world has:

Birch Macroblock core - super light weight and durable

FATTY BASE AND EDGE - bombproof edge & base

100% SYMMETRIC SHAPE - Symmetric geometry, flex, tip & tail, you can mount them forward or backward and they ride exactly the same (the only ski in the world). Ride fakie as comfortably as riding foraward.

BUTTER ZONE - Other skis designed with a buttering specific technology. Other comnpanies have built this type of ski with an overall soft flex, as you know the problem with these skis is that the entire ski is soft leading to lack of stability at speed and big landings. We've created a ski that features even more butterlicious abilities with incredible stability and solid all mtn handling. We've done this by designing into the shape of the core a dip that acts like a slight hinge approx. 1.5 feet in from the tip and tail. This provides you with super hero like butter ability when the ski is flat and you're specifically pressing. Then we stiffened up under foot and made it very torsionally rigid with a special blend of fiber so that when you're just riding around it feels very stable and solid on edge. There is no ski in the world that performs this way.

SNOWBOARD GEOMETRY - we used Eric Pollard's innovative snowboard type geometry which he used on his pro model. It has deep sidecut at the tips like a snowboard and normal sidecut at the waist like a snowboard. This is what gives you the super powers to arc Pollard type carves off lips of jumps to get corked out like you used to only watch in the videos.

I dont know about line anymore, i was hardcore line fan but i dont know about that anymore. I got the cronics this year based alot on them being "bombproof" and they wernt at all. I got them in earily Feb and a by VT open i had some edges missing, few weeks after that missing alot of base and edge. I expected my skogens not to hold up, witch in 3 weeks in the earily season park i had no edges left but not of the cronics.

So when they say the invaders have "bombproof edge & base", makes me think of my cronics.

They are just Line's answer to the Fujatives. Cheap soft. and fun to ski but horid on hard snow. There was a dude at Nstar the works for Line who skied them for a few weeks to test them out. He said he really liked them and he let me ski them for a run and I thought the were pretty fun too. A little unstable though. I guess that's what you give up for the sweet nosepressability.
