Line invaders? good or bad?

line edges this year are super strong, my chronic wides and invaders dont have any cracks after half a year of handrails and park rails

i wouldnt say that they are falling apart, the base and edges are very strong with very little damage done. but they topsheets are complete shit and they are delaming everywhere

Just make sure your Invaders look good when you buy them, and if you do break them line WILL warranty them.

duuuudes do people not understand that they are not delamming?! they have some weird wrapper or outer topsheet for some reason and that peels off real easy, every pair does that and it does not affect the ski they are a very durable and sick ski...

yea my buddies are delaming already. everyone has them especially all those punk ass poser kids. dik whatever its up to you, they are ridiculously soft

you are right,

The way I see it, spending 300 for a pair of invaders, and possibly having cosmetic plastic problems that do not effect the skis performance is still way better than paying 500 to 600 for dynastar or armadas and having a large section of edge fall out that they will not warrenty in a million years.

i love mine...they are super fun all over the place and people make them sound like they are awful for all mtn. which is a lie...but they aren't the best in deep powder. My topsheet is gettin ripped up too

i like them alot. so much fun. in park and out. im trying them out in small amounts of powder this weekend, im sure from the foot of powder ive tried they will be awsome. the matte duraclear gloss ontop of the ski peals off because the ink from the topsheet doesnt let the sheet cure proporly. my tips are fine in regards to edges, the only thing that is a problem is that thing coming off. and under it is topsheet then like 2 mm of fiberglass(ive cut through once, but epoxyed just incase). great ski i find for everywhere, and especialy park. ton of fun for buttering 2

2 of my freinds both had there edges rip out of the tips or tails of there skis after 6 days on snow 6 DAYS

ive had no probs with my invaders and i love em sooo much spent over 30 days on snow with em and they are SWEEEET

Dude i have no idea what everyone is saying but my Invaders are sooooo Sick. Great ski, durable i havent had any problems and it is one of the most solid skis i have ever been on!

i know a few people that have had some problems with the invaders delaminating this year and others that are fine. It seems like some are good and some just arnt standing up.

i got my invaders beginning of december and have ridden them like 15 times with only small pieces of the topsheet comming off (due to falling or something similar). Ive hit many rails with em and the bottoms and edges are still in good shape. Only thing I have had to do to them is put a bit of Epoxy here or there, and a small bit of p-tex on the base cuz I went over some rocks at a resort with shitty snow coverage.

I have met two buys that they delamed within the first week and one other guy that broke them behind the heel first day riding... I would say fujatives if you want a ski like the invader but better...

my chronics were good till the edge came out. Line is replacing them but the warentee process takes a few weeks

I've always been straight up with you guys so here's some Line durability clarification. I know for a fact that over the past 3 years there has been no brand of ski out there more durable than ours. I know other companies warranty return rates from shops and our skis have been the least. 10 years of evolution building skis for the most abusive skiers on the planet has lead us to be extremely innovative and create one-of-a-kind materials and constructions like our Macroblock Core, the Fatty Base & Fatty Edge and overall assembly and construction processs to maximize durability. On another note we did have more problems than normal with the Invader this year regarding the occcassional random delam then other models. Our engineers have now been able to fully analys the situation and gotten to the bottom of it. We already changed the molds on next years to eliminate any delams just like all of our other models of skis.

It would be easy each year to just put a new graphic on the same old ski or make a new ski with the exact same features and construction but as always we developed a revolutionary new ski with tons of new features from scratch which I think you all appreciated from what I read. With innovation comes learning and next year we'll have an innovative product again and this time as bombproof as the all the skis we're known to be.

Thanks for the support,

Jason

there ya go. now all of you shut up about durabilty issues. Everyone with half a brain knows that when you move production like they did, there are going to be some problems. Get next years invaders... or anthems 93 waist...if you're worried about quality.

it really depends, a lot of the new invaders got destroyed, but i got mine for xmass and so far are fine, only minor scratches and one cut into the side i did myslef which i can easily fix

by now if u buy em urs should be fine, and if they do delam send em back at the end of the year for new ones for next year which they said wont delam like some of this years

no cuz that also voids the warrenty...so at the end of the season if urs are beat up u cant send em in for next years
