Line Invader or Line Chronic?

Hi, I'm trying to decide between line chronics and line invaders. I have about 260 dollars and i can get the chronics for 250 new, and the invaders for around 170-200. oh and they are both the o8 models. What is stronger. What is lighter, i ski mostly park. and im 5 foot 4 and 120 pounds. help me out please. thanks

I was lookin at the chronics and invaders this summer (i bought armadas instead) and the main difference that i saw was the invaders were more urban and the chronics were more all mountain/big hits

and correct me if im wrong cuz i havnt looked at either ski in a while but i think thats it

invader if your into buttering and little jibby stuff, chronic if you want a park ski that can still take the whole montain.

agreed. the chronics are a little stiffer and have sidewall construction, invaders are softer with cap construction, with the carbon ollie bands

Well Owning both in the 07 year, i love both. So i will break then down for you

Chronic: Very stiff ski. Great flex through out ski. This will handle groomers like it is a race ski, its got a good radius on it. I Took this to Taos and did 3' pow and it did great.

Invader: Very soft, it has the carbon ollie band in it which once it gets to a certain point it snaps back. I have also ridden these in Taos in 3' pow it was weird but fun. These skis i ahve talken to big parks and have had a riot. They pop so nicley you can ollie over a 3' rope by leaning back and hitting that carbon ollie band,

Gripes:

Invadre: To soft some times, does not hold an edge on ice very well

Chronic: To stiff for all day use, i rip groomers mostly and end of the day i am beat.

Bottom Line: If you want a fun ski gi with invader if you want a real good all around ski Chronic. Money wise Invader is hella deal for a fun ski. Chronic's u gettin what you pay for.

I'd buy the invader if i had the choice and the knowledge that i do right know. Hope it helps man pm me if you need more
